I watched abut an hour of it this morning before I went to work and I'll do that again tomorrow.
For those who think Rory McElroy doesn't have the game to play in the wind, he acquited himself nicely today. +1 is right in it. I think the final score will be somewhere around par, no matter what Bjorn did today. |

I will catch some of it on the w/e, but not interested enough to bother while I am at work. Which links is it this year? |

Royal St. Georges, in southest England. A real moonscape with consistent winds. It is considered kind of unfair by American standards because you can get screwed with a well struck shot, and get rewarded with a wayward one. A very firm surface with the ball bouncing all over the place. |

A very firm surface with the ball bouncing all over the place. Players who can recover with chipping and putting will have a huge advantage over players who like to fire at pins. ![]() I love those English links w/o all the trees and the wide fairways and big greens that seem to blend in w/ the fairways. |

Golf legend Tom Watson rolled back the years with a magical hole in one on the second morning of The Open at Sandwich. Watson played the perfect four iron tee shot on the short sixth, with the ball bouncing once and flying straight into the hole. |
