I didn't say that.

Said the thread title mentions both of their names. I made the comparison between their married lives (and golfing abilities).

Happy now??
Start with post #51, and read.

Look Philly minion (and you have, BTW), I already admitted that i used the wrong term. Shoulda said 'choked' since that's how i was defining Norman anyway- a choker.

But evidently you wanna belabor this topic.
No evidently you want the topic to die because you got worked.

I never got this thread from the beginning. Norman is crying about losing "love", Woods is shitting has pants about getting caught with hoes.

Totally different.

I didn't get worked, Philly minion.

I said that i probably used the wrong word, but fact is Norman's known for choking away victories. Now, Tiger..???

No one but you was comparing the golf skills of the two. You were so very wrong. Don't deflect and attempt to backtrack now. Admit you were talking out of your ass (as usual unfortunately) and say you are sorry.

from what i can tell there are only three majors you can say norman truly choked away. the 86 us open and pga and the 96 masters. the others guys just flat out played better. nicklaus going nuts on the back nine at the 86 masters. pavin at the 95 us open at shinnecock. larry mize making an impossible chip shot at the 87 masters. hell even at the 86 pga bob tway holed from the bunker on the 72nd hole to make a tie impossible. he got a pretty unlucky break at the 89 british.

He does.

He's a fat, dopey golfer who has more 'hype' than cred given his resume.

....and yes, i've met the guy. (right after he signed with Yonex to use their clubs).

If John Daly hadn't existed, Mickelson would be that guy.
i want to go back to this ridiculous post.

first no one asked if you've met mickelson and second no one gives a shit.

john daly does not and has not ever had even a tenth of the talent mickelson has.

here's his resume since you seemingly know nothing about him since you believe he doesn't warrant the hype.

37 pga tour wins(12th most all time, and will easily get into the top 10 before he is done, and one of those was as an amateur), 6 european tour wins, 6 other wins world wide. finished top 10 in over 40% percent of the majors he has played in. certainly not worth the hype.

john daly has 5 pga tour wins, 19 total world wide. finished top 10 in a major 3 times and has been cut in over 40% of the majors he has been in.

Uh ya, Nick Faldo would've won even if Norman hadn't had the worst choke in ages.

But by the end of the day Morgan-Leigh Norman, 13, was just another mourner in a green-carpeted funeral procession, a red-eyed witness to the blackest golfing day of her father's life, the day he somehow spent all six of those shots and five more besides...

Even for Norman, who has a master's in how to lose these things — from ahead to Tom Watson in '81, from behind to Jack Nicklaus in '86, from nowhere to Larry Mize in '87, from everywhere to Ben Crenshaw in '95 — this was gruesome.

Afterward Norman relaxed in the dark of Augusta's first-floor locker room, the one reserved for nonchampions.

Nobody has been deflecting (but you did run away from your comment that you don't pile on as Philly minion).

Funny thing that you wanna be the self-proclaimed 'Sucks Czar' and go after anybody who says that something or somebody 'sucks' when- if i ventured into the Philly board- i'd find Yankees or Mets 'suck' all over the place.

And the Yankees have a helluva lot more Rings than your guys do (and the same number as the Mets).

Oh that's right....but Philly minion will recount how the Mets collapses are *nothing* like Norman's various collapses, thus they're not the same thing and 'sucks' somehow can apply to them but not him.

Deflect, deflect, deflect.

You are doing a great job of proving my point.

Game over.

Yup, just as i figured.

Saying a golfer 'sucks' isn't the same as Philly-Minion saying it about the Mets (or Yankees for that matter).

....even though the Yankees have a ton more rings than the Phillies do (if we're gonna pull out the 'stats') for a comparison like some here have done).

It's my opinion. Maybe it hurt you to read it. Get over it.

He won't. He will continue to try to change the topic of conversation.

I feel bad for the guy. This thread has not gone well for him. Then again, why should I expect anything different.
