I am tentatively in. Since November is so far away, I will update this thread if my plans change and the day becomes impossible.
Same here.

Any fellow Northern California golfers out there? Seems almost like THP is an east coast thing with very little happening out west. Let's get THP West going!

I'd love to organize a THP West golf outing at my home course, the Fred Couples Signature Design San Juan Oaks Golf Club.

If there's enough interest, I can set up a full tournament with prizes or if not then how about just a fun golf day for a few foursomes for skins and bragging rights?
I'm definitely in... Live near Stanford so this would be my best option... It does seem like we're left out of all the Southeast fun that's going on here!
Ash
Edit: Just saw the date of Oct 28th and won't be able to make it that day due to work but am up for mid week rounds or other smaller get togethers and have a fairly open schedule usually... Just PM me and would love to play!

I just reviewed the course info you linked to, and it looks like a terrific track. My wife and I are leaving on vacation October 27th for a couple weeks, so it doesn't look like this particular outing is a possibility. Hope you guys get it organized and have a fantastic time. I'd certainly be interested in other North Cal outings as they come up.

I went down to the SoCal round, it was a blast and I'm sure we can get a few of them to come up. I tried to organize something a while back for NoCal'ers but got swamped with work and had to drop it. I have a list and will send out some heads up to this thread. I'm confident we could get White Rhino to come up and possibly a Vancouverite or two to fly down as well.

the Sunday thing might be an issue.. would be easier to do it on Saturday but let me see what I can do. Would love to get up there for it!

We can definitely make it a Saturday but we'd probably have to push it into November. I'm going to be golfing in Spain for the first week of October so making it earlier is tough and the previous Saturday is booked for PGA Q-School practice rounds.

As for the rate, I can probably get us down to $65 including cart and range balls. Normal weekend guest rate is around $80 with cart.

The only issue with November is the weather. Could be fantastic, could be raining.

Checked with the course today. Saturday the 27th is currently reserved for the PGA Q-School in case of a rainout so we'll have to go with Sunday the 28th of October.

For the interested folks, will that date work for you? I tentatively reserved times starting at 8:30am.
I'll pencil it in to my calendar. Can't commit yet with family thinking about coming to visit at the end of Oct. Do you know about what the rate will be?

From the responses of the interested people, I may consider moving it out a week or two into November. It's still quite nice up here at that time for golf. However, it would then have to be November 10th as I have a 2-day tourney the previous weekend.
