Full press release here: http://www.golfchannel.com/news/golf...PROJECT_081112

This should be much more interesting than the last Haney Project.

It should be much better than the last one, but that wouldn't take much. I'll be curious to see if Phelps has any game at all.

Easily the best swing Haney has dealt with on the show.

I saw an interview after he won his last gold where he said he wanted to work on his golf game, so this makes sense. I will probably watch this.

Wow. More athletic than I expected. I think it is a pretty good swing.
My thoughts exactly after watching it. Haney should have it easy on this one. He always pushes fitness. No problem with phelps!!!

I love the show and this will be a great on to watch. An athlete like him should be impressive.

He's obviously got the physical ability, even if he isn't classically proportioned (huge wingspan). If he's serious about it, what we're missing is that this guy's a world-class competitor. If he WANTS to excel, he will. He's got the coach, the physical tools, the resources, and if he IS retiring, the time to get really, really good. Maybe this is a lark for him, but I think this would be a great season if he does bear down like he can. He's done that most of his life, right?

Very interesting. They say great athletes can do about anything, but this could be pushing it.

This is definitely going to be interesting.. He's tall, and his wing span is absolutely enormous.. I'm just curious what his specs will be!
