Well my lesson last night was rescheduled for tonight. Practice facilities were closed due to rain night before last. Tony (my instructor) wants to work on the full swing the first couple of lessons then focus on the short game for the last 3. My fiance is heading to Myrtle Beach for a week on Friday so I plan to be at the practice facilities every night next week. I'm feeling pretty positive about all of this, I hope I make quick progress! I'll give you all an update on how horrible I am out the gate tonight after my lesson tonight :-P.

I forgot to mention Cory that my parents moved down to Neosho, Missouri about 5 years ago now. That is a neat area around there. Also, a huge fan of the UnderCliff bar/restaurant. Let us know about those lessons when you get them.

That's crazy, small world. I actually grew up 10 miles east of Neosho on Highway 60. A little town called Granby. The Undercliff is a really neat bar/restaurant. I used to eat there with my parents a couple times a month growing up.

Cory,

Great way to start a great sport. I wish I learned golf at your age. Taking lessons is the best move you can make.

Good luck man. I just bought the same Adams full set that you did just yesterday. I haven't played much golf in my life, but several friends play regularly and I want to begin learning asap.

I'm loving my clubs so far, hopefully you are as happy with them as I am. I had to travel for work last week so its been a while since my last lesson. Getting back to it tonight though. I would definitely recommend starting with lessons though. It has helped me immensely.
