I find if I'm a bit sore (muscles), I might actually play a little more sensibly, and maybe even score better. Although, if I'm worn out after cardio work, I'll struggle. Sleuth has a good point, diet and supplements can really help if you're feeling tired after exercise. Can help you do more and condition yourself to your needs.

Back when I was younger and lifted weights a lot, I always found that somehow when my arms/chest/shoulder were sore, I always played surprisingly well. I remember when I took a break from the gym then went back in for my first work. The next day I had that infamous soreness from my first workout back. I decided to play 9 with my cousin anyway and I somehow hit all 9 greens in reg.
I think sore legs, or tired legs, would be an entirely different story. But for me, upper body soreness just helps me to keep things tight and compact. |

I feel much better now. I shot a 98 and a 90 today. As long as I'm under 100 right now I'm happy. |

Nice going Sir, I am among those who tend to get tired the more days I play in a row. I played well last week the first 3 days I was in Myrtle Beach, the last two not so much. Of course I am in my mid sixties and don't have the stanima I once had. To paraphrase: These old legs ain't what they used to be... |
