Default Opponent in league play hit the green in one on a 405 yard par 4 today

Of course there was a bit of wind behind him (about 80-90 km/h) but still that's crazy

Wind made the round pretty miserable but I managed to win my match and only shot a 50

About 40 yards I'd estimate. The hole goes downhill then back uphill at 100 yards in to the same height as the tee and he landed about halfway up the hill

True, we have had windier days.
i was actually pretty happy with how I played since I tend to have a hard time keeping the ball low but I did a pretty good job of it today
Did he still bogey?
Made birdie but just barely

Lethbridge is crazy windy and since wind is my nemesis combined with my general dislike of the prairies caused me too not enjoy my trips there all that much.

I didn't get to golf though so that would have made the trips better.

The next hole, into the wind, it took him 12 shots to get into a Par 4, and his drive went 55 yards............behind him.

...must not have been pouring rain here when you were out. All that blue sky tends to weird you guys from the west coast out. That and seeing city's with hockey teams that can actually win the Stanley Cup probably makes you uncomfortable too.

Thats just a little more than a breeze in Lethbridge. They have a very capable wind gauge outside the tourism office.

I wouldn't even think about playing in 55 mph wind. You just blew my mind with that, I have no other words!

Well I do live in one of the windiest cities in Canada. Something like 130 days of 40km/h + winds (About 25 mph) so high winds won't stop league nights

LOL, I don't follow hockey but I'm sure its awesome for you. The prairies freak me out man, I'm sure the blue sky is nice but its just not for me, that doesn't make it bad. All that flat just drives me freaking bananas.
