I am trying to find what people in the Denver area feel is the best practice facility. I am not just referring to driving range but also looking for a great short game practice area. One that I have found that is pretty good is Broken Tee golf course (an Englewood muni). Thanks for the input in advance.

When I lived in Denver, I really enjoyed the practice area at Family Sports Center off Arapahoe and 25. They had a big well lit range with a huge natural tee and artificial tees, 2 short game chipping areas, 2 practice bunkers, and a large putting green. I liked the chipping areas the best because they had 60 yards or so where you can practice wedge shots and not need to use range balls.

Hi Hardrock. Eagle Trace in Broomfield has a great short game practice area, large pitching areas with multi level surfaces and great bunkers of varying depth to play out of. Riverdale has excellent facilities and Colorado National has some of the best.
All these are up North by where I live though. I'm not familiar with practice facilities down in your neck of the woods. |
