Fantastic write up dude! What a great experience. Thanks for sharing that with us.

Did I read it correctly: 4* flat in your irons?
Yeah, hehe. After the dynamic fitting though I think he wrote down only 2* flat in the irons. Swing started to come around once I got warmed up and he reminded me of swinging to right field. I have a tendency with the OTT move to really pull heel of the club into the turf first, which he said allowed me to help square the clubface up. It was quite interesting.

Dude, that was one heckuva read.

The stuff they can do to fit you is INCREDIBLE! Now if they'd just make a non-white driver again!!!!
Non-white driver would be awesome! They really are incredible, it was a really cool experience and I'm glad I did it. I can't wait to get my suggestions back so I can post em up here and see what you guys think.

If you want it, there's a guy near me that does it:

Did you ever think of trying the shafts you like in your Mizuno irons? Maybe swap out 1 or 2 shafts and give it a try...I'm not really that knowledgeable of the process or cost that would involve (might be high) but I thought I would throw this out there..
And that fitting looks like it would be great for one's game.. Good luck..
Sorry I missed this. Good point. I've been pondering some new irons for a while, so more than likely I'll go the new iron route, but would also make sense to swap shafts out and just see what it was like. I like the MP-60s and will keep them for a backup set no doubt. They'll probably be my set when I teach myself reshafting http://www.thehackersparadise.com/fo...ies/act-up.png

ps. Ary, ask and you shall receive! Always enjoy hearing your thoughts about setups, will look forward to seeing what you think when I get the recommendations he made back and can put them up here.

Quick Q. I know how you said you loved the NV shaft. But if you put it in with a different head wouldn't this give you different resuluts? Maybe the NV would only be the best in the R11S head where as you may like the Fubuki (for example) better than the NV in a dif. head? Just playing devil's advocate.

Yeah, no doubt a good point. I asked Nick what he thought about it in the 460 head and he said he thought it would perform very similar. If it doesn't pan out I'll just give in and go get a R11S head!

Funny guy! I was an idiot, I didn't see your thread from last night when I woke up this morning and put my post up.

Anyways, looks like you had a blast, which doesn't surprise me at all. As a KBS Tour player, now you've got me interested in the DG XP shafts! Best of luck with what you go with from your new recommendations.

I was really impressed with the KBS Tour's also, I want to make that known. They were silky smooth and had a pretty nice ball flight as well, the XP just had a little more of a "zing" feeling, and really seemed to rocket the golf ball. I won't be opposed to play either one, that's how close it was for me.

Awesome writeup and experience bahester! I have always wanted to go to the Performance Lab and get a in depth fitting like that but the $$$$ always stops me.

It's definitely pricey, but well worth it imo. Maybe as a gift of some type!
