Unfortunately, no it won't be. We tried to have them send us a case, but there was this whole liability thing that they were hung up on. Me; I have an RV that I drive around all over the place to different golfing areas, would love a case to stock the fridge and travel around with. Michelob; Umm... ![]() |

Interesting. As a fan of sweet tea vodka and lemonade, I might give these a try. My only problem with things like this in the past is that they always seemed to taste, well, canned. Perhaps a bit of carbonation can help that out though. |

Thanks GG. If anyone has had both, I would love to see the comparison. I havent been able to find the Hard AP around here so maybe the Michelob will come around. They are very different. The Arnold Palmer half/half taste nothing like a real Arnold Palmer cocktail or even his non-alcoholic half/half. It was designed as a malt beverage in order to get around some state's antiquated distribution rules on wine/spirits. It taste more like a hard lemonade or something. Not refreshing like the cocktail. Actually kind of "heavy" and syrupy. It is the only drink in the Arnold Palmer portfolio that I don't "love" and just "like". I do like them, just not as much as the real half/half spiked with vodka. The Michelob product has been a flop and most distributors are already engaging in buybacks. It also doesn't taste like the cocktail. I tried one and thought it was OK, but evidently the general public doesn't care as much for it as I do. So I'm back to spiking the normal half/half or mixing up Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea, which if you haven't had, you have to try. It is better than Firefly, which I considered sacrilege for the past 3 years until trying the JW. It is awesome!! |
