Default TheIcemann's 2012 Golf Season Thread
I figured starting a thread was in order to keep track of and share all of the things going on in the golf world for me this year. This is my current list of ventures for the year:

Improve to a 12 handicap by the time school starts in the fall and maintain it all winter. I'll post my progress here.

I'm getting into golf course photography. I'm going to be taking pictures from every angle possible of upscale courses in the area and making them look good with Photoshop. I'll post each album here as they are completed.

I'm giving lessons to kids age 10 and under. I'll post the funny stories that come out of it!

I'm doing custom work (stamping and paintfill) on people's clubs. I'll post my work here.

Still hoping to find a job at a course this year. Funny stories like drunks and geese getting hit, along with annoying things like people who trash the course and the carts will be posted here!

Well you certainly have a lot going on with golf. I see you're giving lessons? Are you also taking them to reach your goal of being a 12 handicap? If you are, make sure you pass on what you learn from a professional to these youngsters. That could be a real bonus for them. You should post pictures of some of your prior stamping and paint fill work.

You need to be careful, though, you don't want to get burned out with golf. Leave a little time for music, movies, girls, and other youthful hijinks.

Exactly. Every teenage boy needs some time for himself.

Not the ones on THP.

Maybe we should all start our own personal threads as opposed to posting in the pertinent threads that already exist?

They probably grab two or three minutes for personal time.

This one does seem like it will cover a lot of territory. I'm wondering if this is where we'll learn how the Scor wedges he decided on are working for him? What deals he's getting at his pro shop could also be of interest.

I'm going to start a thread where I will talk about the clubs I am pondering purchasing. I will also create a new thread where I can talk about what I have bought.

Do we have an NFL thread?

How personal should these threads be?? I do some deep personal thinking at times that I don't know I want to share here.
