Over this winter i went to a stronger grip. If my forearms are relaxed at address its 30 degrees closed. It has really helped my ball striking and accuracy.
I feel most people would have more fun with golf and stop loosing balls to the right if they learned to swing with a closed face. What is your grip and why? Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk |

that is somethign im working on now, my problem is I come from a baseball background, and I still have that twist in my swing, so when I have my face closed just slightly to much i drive it dead left, but I have ben reading a few books and in one of them there was some great diagrams to help me out and I actually turn my left hand (righty) in just an inch which does close the face ever so slightly and then I apply my left hand when I address the ball im good to go in the nuetral position and most of the time it goes right were I am aiming,,,no i just have to aim the right way ...lol

I have worked very hard on my grip over the winter. Last year, towards the end of the year, I was pushing everything right. During that time, I had a pretty neutral grip. I have strengthened my left hand grip, putting my left thumb, on the right side of the grip at address. My right hand is still neutral. So far, in the three times I have played thus far this year, I am striking my irons so much better, and my game off the tee has been amazing. I still pull through and hook one, but only once a round, if that. I can deal with a hook. I can't deal with pushing 13 drives a round, so far right, they aren't even on the course anymore.
