Default How strong or weak is your grip
Over this winter i went to a stronger grip. If my forearms are relaxed at address its 30 degrees closed. It has really helped my ball striking and accuracy.

I feel most people would have more fun with golf and stop loosing balls to the right if they learned to swing with a closed face.

What is your grip and why?

I've worked really hard on my grip over the winter to make sure I got to a good neutral grip.

that is somethign im working on now, my problem is I come from a baseball background, and I still have that twist in my swing, so when I have my face closed just slightly to much i drive it dead left, but I have ben reading a few books and in one of them there was some great diagrams to help me out and I actually turn my left hand (righty) in just an inch which does close the face ever so slightly and then I apply my left hand when I address the ball im good to go in the nuetral position and most of the time it goes right were I am aiming,,,no i just have to aim the right way ...lol

My grip always starts neutral and by the time my round it over or range session is over, i have a very strong grip. Ive never really been sure where its supposed to be.

I feel strong is better it allows you to have max lag and forward shaft lean without loosing the ball right

I am completely neutral. If I strengthen my grip, I hook the bejeebies out of the ball. I play with a neutral club face through my swing as well.

I would say I have a strong right hand, but a very weak left hand. It's a comfort thing for me cause whenever I roll my weak hang more strong I'll slice it/push it so I just stayed weak and kept it.

Neutral/weak. If I go to a strong grip, left thumb (right handed) at 1 or 2 o'clock, I tend to hook the ball. As it stands now, my left thumb sits right on top or just to the right of center.

I'm the same way. I waffle between strong and neutral. My grip changes way too much during a round, and it kills my consistency.

Tell that to a hooker who loses his ball to the left.

I don't know of that's best, but it's what I do too. I start with a fairly strong grip and after my forward press the grip offsets the slightly open club face.

Tap before talk.

My left thumb is at about 1:00 to 1:30 on the grip. The 'V's' point between my ear and shoulder (at least this is how I perceive it). I would consider this fairly neutral, as far as I know.

I got the two knuckle on 90% of my shots but will give it the old Honda grip, 3 knuckles, when I want to turn it over.

I have worked very hard on my grip over the winter. Last year, towards the end of the year, I was pushing everything right. During that time, I had a pretty neutral grip. I have strengthened my left hand grip, putting my left thumb, on the right side of the grip at address. My right hand is still neutral. So far, in the three times I have played thus far this year, I am striking my irons so much better, and my game off the tee has been amazing. I still pull through and hook one, but only once a round, if that. I can deal with a hook. I can't deal with pushing 13 drives a round, so far right, they aren't even on the course anymore.

I have a fairly strong grip and rely on it to contribute to my power.
