Hello, anyone familiar with app (or hardware) called GameBook?
Personally, have shared really exciting moments with my friends during two past years using this... -GameBook is the first ever live scoring golf app for iPhone and the only one where you can follow friends’ games in real-time. As i am so new to this forum (in post counts...) i cannot paste link here, but please search for golfgamebook.com... I wanted to share this because product comes from Finland, thats where i live. We only have two brands in golf... Wilson and GameBook. ![]() |

I looked at it and it's pretty cool....I will paste the link in here for you
http://www.golfgamebook.com/ My home course has skins games that they host 3 or 4 times a week...usually 20-30 players in 5 or more groups....there is money for team bets, individual skins, low gross and low net and Closest to the pins...add you got no idea how anybody else is doing until you finish the round. If you could get everybody to use this even the last group would know where they stand....pretty cool. |

Yup Free until Jan 31st. The interface is pretty easy to use and it changes the whole complexion of a tournament to know scores in real time...

It's pretty cool app for a tournament or just a group of guys bigger than a foursome that want to keep track of a live leaderboard...
The Stanford Men's Golf Team is having their Race to Hawaii internal competition to decide who goes to the UH-Hilo Intercollegiate Feb 1-3. They are playing rounds tomorrow at Palo Alto Municipal Golf Course, Saturday at the Cal Club and Monday back at Stanford. (all start about noon Pacific time) Round 1 is in the books. If you are interested just friend Conrad Ray (the coach) or Phile Rowe (assistant coach) on the Gamebook app and you'll be able to follow a live leaderboard of that internal competition. It's bringing a PGA tournament feel to the qualifying rounds. Pretty neat. I'll post a join code during the rounds as well and possibly a web link to the scoring, if I can figure that out. |
