Default OH/KY/IN Spring Get Together
Well, I figured its that time of year again to start planning another get together with fellow THPers. As before, everyone is welcome from anywhere. I think thus far we have had 3 states represented in our other gatherings from 2011.

Thinking maybe mid to late April since you never know with the weather that time of year. Id prefer it NOT to be down in Cincy again lol. Thoughts on dates and locations? I was thinking Columbus as a possible option so that the Cleveland THPers could easily make the trip down, and I know there are some really nice courses there for affordable prices.

thoughts....

UDPDATED:
Gathering will be April 21st in Columbus

AM-The Links at Echo Springs--$34 includes Cart

Would certainly be down. Would need about a month lead time to be sure I can get the time off from work. Columbus is only about 3 and hours from Indy so not a bad drive over.

Interested if it isn't too far. I have vacation in the middle of April and will already be playing a French Lick package with a day of unlimited play at Sultan's Run, a hotel stay at French Lick, then unlimited play at The Donald Ross course for $255.

We only have a 2some for this trip (4/18-4/19). Make it happen!

Disclaimer: French Lick group just recently purchased Sultan's Run and I've heard it isn't in great shape. However, Donald Ross is in great shape and a tough challenge.

I'm in Indy also and would be up to making the trip. I've been toying with the idea of heading over to the Maltby club fitting school one weekend, too.

You can count me in. So just give me a heads up. Some notice would be nice. But I know you will give us plenty of time Mike. Look forward to playing golf with you guys again! Try to make one of the courses walkable.

I'm ready to play! This winter has been really frustrating with not much snow and looking like we can golf then being too freaking cold when you go outside. It's such a tease to look out the window. I really enjoyed playing the last few times. Should be a blast again.

We been getting about the same weather, I'm probably 5 or 6 rounds at least into the season. Just got dress for it, but got to love having the course pretty much to yourself.

Might be in for this one.

Once a date and location have been set, I'll start looking into getting the weekend off, getting a hotel room, etc.

April 20th weekend would be best. 19th is my birthday and it would be a good excuse to get away for a few days. I'm too old to go out and "party".

Taaaaap-a-talk....tap tap taaap-a-talk....give it a little tap-a-rooonie...

Will probably try and make it. That should be enough lead time for me to get from work. I will put it down.
