Would there be interest in a Western PA/Ohio/Maryland type of gathering? - DiscussWorldIssues - Socio-Economic Religion and Political Uncensored Debate

I know we have an outing/gathering organized that is geared more conveniently toward the Eastern part of PA and the shore areas but I'm just curious if we'd have interest in putting something together for those of us further West? I'm still planning on attending the other outing but, heck, can you ever have too many THP events?

I know it's probably tough for a lot of the Ohio/Western Maryland/Western PA folks to make it out East for the gathering so I think it'd be fun if we did something around here. Western Pennsylvania, Western Maryland, and Ohio are full of wonderful golf courses so I'm sure we could make something really cool happen.

Just curious if anyone might be interested. I have no specific time in mind - the Eastern shore outing is in the middle of April - maybe we could shoot for something later in case some of those guys would be interested in joining in? Maybe something in June or July after the THP Demo Day?

This is a great idea. Maybe we could plan a monthly outing hitting various areas...Western PA, Western MD, etc. Everyone might not be able to make every event due to distance, but by offering an outing in different areas, it opens it up to more people.

I think it'd be pretty cool - do something at least every couple of months in this general part of the country. Plus, at least personally, I absolutely love trying out different golf courses. Nothing better!

Steel, I would be interested for sure. I was hoping to get to the one in NJ but it's right in the middle of spring Baseball, which I help coach so I can't. Hopefully some more will be interested. Think it would be nice to try some course with other THPers in the Western PA, MD and Ohio area. Thanks for thinking of this.

Good to hear! Hopefully we can get enough folks interested and start planning something. Plenty of awesome possibilities - it'd be darn tough to pick a spot!

Many I would like to try. Steel President, I had to laugh because I saw that we both joined in Dec 2011 and I have 57 posts and you have 1,326. And I thought I was on alot. lol.

The life of a college student on break, haha! My time will scale back a bit as classes get back into the swing of things (and football) but, yes, I have a posting problem.

if U want to make teh drive, we typically do a few a year of these in Cincy and columbus OH area, usually have 10-16 guys or so, mostly THPers

thats good to hear, there are a few THPers from CBUS that usually get together with us Cincy guys and some guys from Toledo and play a few rounds every now and then...keep us in the loop
