i don't understand why you think handicap has anything to do with how long someone hits the ball. with my last set of irons TM burner 2.0s i could carry my 6 iron 200 yards fairly easily. and my handicap was higher than yours is. Ive always been a longer hitter due to my swing speed but that doesn't mean i control my ball as well as others or have anything close to a short game as some guys that i play with or are on this forum. Doing iron testing on here i have been honest that ive actually lost some distance with the R11s coming from the 2.0s. but my handicap has actually gone down. and as for guys lying i actually believe most guys on this site especially guys who are doing club testing and like others have said most people on here actually play with each other im actually glad i have so guys don't think i'm full of BS... like you said.
I was at an outing in PA. with Buck and I was in his group with two other players who were right there with Buck cranking the ball . I was the Old guy hitting a 7 Iron 150~ 155. watching those guys just makes your jaw drop and say gosh. Buck speaks the truth, come on out to an outing and you'll think twice about your judgement. Better have a tight hold on your wallet.

What's this 6-iron you speak of? I usually only carry a 3-wood and a putter. If there is a 190 yard par 3, I usually just choke way down on the 3 wood and hit a fade. Otherwise, it's tee shot and putt out. Sometimes it's not fun being this much man.

I recently posted about having 195 to a pin, hitting a 6 iron and it going over the green. I would love to be called out!!! I had my brother there with me, who is a forum member. So, why would I lie? Please tell me your talking about me...if not, then you are referencing Golf4life, who we have played golf with and he can kill a ball. Then we have rbelbin, but, what would you know, your only 11 posts in it!
You Calloways are always stirring up trouble here, that is why!!! LOL Maybe I need to show you how to get some real distance out of your clubs mister!!! 195 to the pin? I am grabbing my 54* wedge and taking a 3/4 swing!!! LOL

I hit the ball kinda far, but I cant putt. I'd give up 25 yards on each iron to be able to putt.

Sluggster66--I have played for 30+ years and have played with many higher handicap golfers who can flat out hit it a ton. Everyone is different. Welcome to THP though. I think if you stick around you will find great info on this site and it can be a lot of fun following some of the threads. I am not a big poster and have not yet attended an outing or demo day but I plan to in the future. You can tell by reading that many of the regulars know each other or some of the other members and I do think that adds to the experience. Some people may stretch the truth but I think it is rare. Enjoy the site.

No need to share my distance because I'm growing and it will probably be 20 yards further in October than it will be in April. But dude people can hit the ball hard there's no reason to attack them and accuse them of lying.
