where is the best place to go to in scotland for a session on a launch monitor?

i'm wanting to find out exactly what my specs are so i can go from there and change shafts etc to suit.it needs to be a place that uses good balls and not that usual range crap like brucefields use, those balls are poor.

thanks in advance.

Well I live a few miles away from the biggest driving range/fitting centre in the country, but I'm struggling to recommend the drive down to be honest!

I see Nevada Bob's in Perth (does that still exist?) supposedly has a Mizuno fitting available, with the Swing DNA and shaft optimizer. Might be worth seeking something like this out first to get an idea of the sort of thing you're looking for, then maybe travelling further afield for an outdoor fitting with that information in hand?

thanks for the reply paulo,i've emailed a few places and received a reply from a place in edinburgh(i think).....scott gourlay!!!they use a trackman and do a session for £45 which seems reasonable.he asked some info like what current equitment i use and height etc and handicap and whether it was mainly my irons or driver i was wanting more info on but i just said both.seems promising.

i got my fitting at world of golf in glasgow, mizuno shaft optimiser for my irons which is great.
for drivers they have a decent selection, some better than others. titleist fitting cart so lots, off the shelf callaways so not so much.

my friend had a fitting at nevada bobs up north recently for irons and said it was great, guy knew his stuff and there was no hard sell.

i had a few other emails from the guy and it seems very good.i only want a session on the trackman so i can see exactly what shafts i would need for the driver and irons when the time came.do you's guys take your own clubs in with you or do you just use clubs that they supply?i'm thinking because i'm only wanting to get some feedback then i'll be better off using my own clubs as i'm not looking for a new driver or iron set.

I'd always take my own clubs so you have a reference point. Difficult to really believe in a recommendation unless you can see it stacked up against your own set.
