Default Where have you recruited new THP members?
So today, at a wedding, didn't really know anyone there as my girlfriend was the invitee and I was the guest. Started talking to this guy about golf (easy convo starter as the wedding was at a golf course outside of Boston). Really cool dude, and we're probably going to play in the future (his wife and my gf are friends and they both play). Started talking about THP and he got pumped about the site. Later on at the reception, another golf convo started so I dropped the name THP again! Same response. It got me thinking about how many times in the past year that THP has helped my conversations in spots where I didn't know anyone and people started talking golf and then we started on THP. Where have you recruited new members, or where do you discuss THP most often off the website?

At work I got 2. On facebook I got 1 and probably getting another. I think I might be getting a dude from the local range to join as well. I have a bunch of THP tee's now so I am thinking of leaving a good one on some tee boxes just so people can maybe look us up

Nothing crazy, mostly just buddies who always see me decked out in THP. I have at least 6 or more buddies who get on here regularly, but only two who post very often.

I was so fired up that they sounded as excited about it as I am. I even warned his wife that she might be mad at me after he finds it hahahaa.

At golf courses, mostly. Although I do share and like a lot of threads on Facebook. A couple of potential clients, but not very often as I prefer to separate work and forum.

I post on Twitter and Facebook. Actually the only reason I use Facebook. If I think someone would be interested I tell them about it. I always tell people about it when they see the Rescue 11. Everyone asks about white clubs.

I wear my THP chapeau and shirt and people ask about it. Occasionally I'll play with other equipment junkies and I'll talk about the THP forum.

At the course I will always wear at least a THP cap for my THP gear. If I want to wear a different cap, I'll have a THP shirt on. Plus I have my Daphne's/THP Gorilla on the driver and the THP Spotless swing towel so I am always advertising anyway. I give away the THP Epoch tees as well.

I not only wear it for advertising purposes but because it's well made gear...not that I wear the shirt all the time...I have to wash it. lol

Well, I went a little crazy and got like a brazillian shirts, haha. I could wear them daily if I chose to! I rarely wear them to work in for the reason I mentioned above.

Perfectly understandable in your line of work Smalls. But keep them in the car in case you can sneak in a round on your way home. :-)

You really can't go wrong there. From shirts and hats, to headcovers and divot tools. Even a new book by Sean Weir that tells everything you will ever need to know when buying a putter.
