Default Flying wedge?
who has heard or use this method? my golf pro recently introduced me to it and it made a lot of difference. I still have to get used to it and forget my old habits but we all know that takes time. just curious if anyone has used or heard of the flying wedges before.

I'm sorry you're going to have to explain what you mean. I've never even heard of it....

I think that is a football term, I have been playing golf for over 40 years and have never heard that before.

My attention span is far too little to watch that 5 minute video of a guy swinging tennis rackets.

Thanks dolphin, this is what really made the light click for me as to what the heck we are talking about. "Now, these "Wedges" are not the clubs you have your golf bag, but rather the wedges that you form between your forearms and shaft during the swing." So why not just say angles?

I guess I should've mentioned that on the original post. LoL. that 1st YouTube link though was pretty funny, literally "flying" club.

anyway, this technique or whatever you wanna call it has helped me with ball striking. I felt the difference between a properly struck ball than the hacked one. my pro wants me to become pretty good with the short game first (100 yards and in). and then worry about the other stuff.

I've seen flying wedges. One of my buddies occasionally give his a fling. Best ever, he threw it, hit a concrete cart path and broke the shaft out of it.

I used to have a buddy who had a flying wedge. Every time he chunked a chip his wedge would go flying.

I've been a witness to the same myself.Worse time a playing partner misses the shot and decided to throw the club into a water hazard. He missed the water and came up short on the throw.Someone above gave him a second chance to reconsider his actions and pick up his club. What's he do..walk down to the bank, pick up his club and proceed to throw it into the lake he just missed. Then he took the cart and headed to the clubhouse leaving his cart partner holding his putter to play the next hole with. What an idiot.......last time I played with him.

I like the explanation in the video of the right hand coming down the plane from the top but for something that is supposed to simplify a swing, the descriptions are confusing.
