I've gotten it. It only comes around once every two weeks or so. Can't recall my distances but it's great when you measure one after the other and they are LONG.

I have a different sort of BDS, but it isn't because I'm hitting it long, it's because I'm trying to keep up with a big hitting playing partner, and that never works. When I get into that mode, BDS turns into BSS (Big Score Syndrome). http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/banghead.gif
I think I have this too. My best friend and I are about the same in all our distances but then he is lights out from there to the green

Anyone else have BDS (Big Drive Syndrome) now and then? Today I was BDS all day. I was hitting Driver close to 300 all day and killing 3wood 240 and 5wood 225. Could not chip what so ever. It can be so frustrating to hit a monster driver and then double the hole cause I cant chip.
Some days I would be thrilled to hit my driver 240 and my 3 wood 225.

I totally understand your frustration.

I totally have BDS. I find nothing more aggravating than killing a drive then hit my 60* fat. GRRRRRR. But this is why I have dedicated this year to the short game. I have really been working on my wedges, chips and putts. It is going to pay off for sure.
