1. I can't hit an iron or a hybrid lower than 20*.
2. The 7 wood is my money club. 3. A 17* 3 wood goes further than a 15* 3 wood- and I can hit it off the deck 4. From 20* and up, Hybrids are better than irons in just about any condition. 5. Shafts make a huge difference in drivers= adjustable drivers are the best. 6. Learning course management is the fastest way to break 100 What did you learn this year? |

Well I learned a good many things but the one that was a real surprise was how quickly one can change his overall physicality from a golf perspective if he works at it steadily. I am shocked at how quickly that changed and the impact it had on the clubs I can play or I guess more correctly the clubs I should be playing.

+1 on everything except for making bets with JB
I also learned: I need to narrow my stance for all shots Course management will help keep big numbers off my scorecard (if I still need to use one) Ball fittings are not a myth It's a more consistent shot/ball strike for me using a 1/2 or 3/4 swing rather than a full one i learned a few things in 2010: |

ive learned that
my quest for more distance has destroyed my accuracy its possible to hit a long straight drive(just gotta figure out how to repeat it) playing winter golf in the freezing cold on an empty course is more enjoyable than perfect weather golf on a crowded course playing in a jacket makes my slice worse then taking it off makes me hook putting is a state of mind playing golf while hungry makes a bad score worse |

i learned a few things in 2010: 6. Listen to TC about course management and club selection. 7. The 3 iron is my friend. 8. 70% of practice time should be on the short game. 9. The driver doesn't need to come out just because it is a par 4 10. Enjoy a bad round because we are never guaranteed tomorrow. I'm serious. I use tapatalk, blade irons, and my clubs are worth more than my car... Well, I do use tapatalk. |

1. Shafts are probably the most important pieces of your equipment other than the ball.
2. Ball fitting is legit, and IMO necessary for even the once a month player 3. THP is amazing 4. As someone else stated don't argue with JB about sports he knows alot and is usually right. 5. Ole Gray is probably the coolest dude on the planet. |

For me one thing that I really learned is to not let a bad hole ruin my day. I was playing with my bro and 2 others one day and I was playing GREAT, a guy with us talked in my backswing , I hit a bad shot and my day was OVER> I couldnt get past it. I let it take over and I ended up not enjoing the rest of the day. I have since worked on it and I have enjoyed every round since. I am an amateur for a reason, I am gonn ahave mis hits, bad days, or just bad luck some days . I need to remember to be thankful to just be out there.

1. Driving 230 yds and in the fairway is much better than 270 yds and in the right side deep stuff.
2. A good day on the course is ANY day on the course. 3. The fastest way to drop my scores is to work on my wedges and lags. 4. I have a lot more fun when I forget the score card. 5. I'm a gear freak. |
