I'm so excited for this!

The inaugural issue hooked me but WOW this is looking good. This one is a triple threat for me as I love Furyk, love Hoefy, and am excited to learn more about shaft selection!

Ever think about making the title on the cover bigger? There's definitely enough space up there.

bought the 1st issue on second chance! great issue>

as for my opinion. drop him down to his waist use the top for your title. drop him down and then use the left side for a few more titles for articles. from somebody in airports use the side for article titles. Thats what grabs people, articles whether it be reviews or anything. I buy based on front title content! I should say i pick up based on that and if there is good stuff i buy!

and for a punch to THP i would have bought there first issue at a airport as it was a great issue!

I would actually move him UP and make the title bigger so you can see a bit more of it behind him. This would allow more space for the text that is very close to his elbow.

To tell you the truth, the more I look at the cover the more that big white space behind Furyk bothers me. Perhaps moving him all the way to the right side of the page (so his back actually bleeds off the edge) will solve all your problems? Then you could make the title bigger, the text on the bottom more roomy, and lots more space for the other text too (to make it bigger, or just adjust the spacing to be more comfortable around the treeline).

There's a lot of prime real estate empty on that cover as-is. Either adding things or making what's there bigger would be a good decision, IMO.

Love the feedback guys and input on the cover. We always like hearing about what everybody likes and dislikes. We spoke about it last night and decided we are going to keep this cover as is for this issue.

We really like how it came out and while it is not what some are looking for, most seem to like it quite a bit. But we are taking each one of your ideas and making notes about them for future issues.

I personally absolutely love love the cover!!! It looks very clean and not crowded with info. I hate to disagree with you JL, but the white background looks very cool. It gives it depth. Love the camo and crosshairs for the driver shootout, very very clever. And finally, I agree with smalls and tcalloway, you were kind of going for thr "for dummies" look without duplicating and I think it was a great idea and concept. Overall, an excellent job and I am looking forward to it.

Not talking about the background, sorry. I was referring to the empty space above his left shoulder.
I'm sure all these things I'm saying aren't a big deal at all to your consumers. I just notice them because that's what I do.
