I'll take the heat over the cold any day.No thanks to weather under 60*
I love golfing in the 50's, perfect weather as far as I am concerned. The courses are empty, you can take your time, your beverages don't boil sitting in the cart, etc. You guys can have your 90º+ crap, I will take 50-60 & low 70's.

Whoa whoa whoa! You're kidding right? I mean I know you're in AZ, but still, 50* isn't bad, 40* isn't really either. Then again I'm Alaskan

Amen, brother!

I hate the heat. 50-60F sounds about perfect.

Couldn't agree more! That's why we spend most of our summers in northern Michigan where every day is 76 and may and October are 65! PERFECT weather!!

I played twice last week while we're down here in Missouri briefly. Thursday it was 95 and humid, but we had a 25 mph wind which was a lifesaver thanks to evaporative cooling! I played the Tuesday before and it was only 80 but it was about 75% humidity and still as death- MISERABLE!!

I'll be heading north again soon to hang out until late October and PLAY!

It's supposed to get to 98° with 109° heat index in KC today.

It'll probably brew up another evening thunderstorm like we had yesterday. We ended up with about 1.5" of rain last night.

We have had 9 days in the last 10 over 100. And the forecast is for the same for at least the next week. Today it is supposed to be around 104 not sure what the heat index will be. I played 36 on Sunday and 18 on Monday but took yesterday off but will play 18 tonight after work. Not many people out with the heat so the rounds go pretty quick. Drink lots and lots of water and plenty of sunscreen and it is not too bad.

We don't get too many days over 100° here but it's almost hitting it and it's not even the hottest part of the year yet. We'll probably get our fair share this summer.

No thanks, I've got better things to do.

I'll be in your area next weekend. Care if I stop by for a swim?

I don't mind the heat and humidity too much. I try to get out early before it gets too bad. I played last summer in my company outing and it was probably 95* with high humidity and it took 6 hours. It was quite warm that day.
