Saw this movie on Saturday.
I was pleased to see that this wasn't any ordinary WWII movie like you might presume. They basically re-write the ending of the war. It's what you would expect from Quentin Tarantino and then some. I will say this, if you faint at the mere sight of blood, this movie is definitely not for you. And if you love gore and death, you'll adore it xD. You might have it preordained in your head that this is one of those movies that will be all action and no plot/dialogue. This is not correct, it actually has a well developed plot and awesome story line. If you're one of those people that can't sit and keep your attention focused on a movie for 2 1/2 hours, don't bother spending your money on this one though. I do realize of a lot of people have it out for Brad Pitt, but the truth is, even if he is hung up on himself, he is a great actor and pulls his role off very convincingly in this film. Like I said, very graphic film, rated R, stay at home kiddies. All in all, 7/10. |
