Default Top 250 movies as voted by our users of IMDb
Here is an interesting list of the top 250 movies as per the viewers of IMDb..

I was surprised at some of the high and low names on this list..

The Silence of the Lambs and The Usual Suspects should be higher, imo.

I find alot of new movies make it into the top 250 to start with because they base the list on rating! Give it a few weeks and alot of the newer films on that list will drop out.

I was pleased to see Spirited Away in the top 50.

I've seen a fair few of them - over half.

I think out of the top 10 films, the one I like the most is One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. That film is great. Probably better than the book.

My favorite would be Pulp Fiction.

I'm surprised A Clockwork Orange isn't higher in the list. It was a fucked up movie but good nonetheless.

*whispers* I have never watched Pulp Fiction.

Yes A Clockwork Orange is great.

Surprised To Kill A Mockingbird wasn't higher. And Pan's Labyrinth was only at 93!

Tsss, but I say "looks like this spider's caught himself a couple of flies.." all the time!

The voting system works quite well for the most part. But obviously for films with less views, each rating is more powerful, so give a 6 to Star wars, and it won't effect it much, give a 6 to one of the Japanese films from the 40's and it might knock it down a place.
