Did anyone watch the 2 hour premiere of "The River"? What did you think?

I watched it and thought it was sufficiently freaky and strange enough that I have the new episode from last night on my DVR (yet to be watched).

If you are not familiar, it is an 8 episode horror series on ABC by the producers of "Paranormal Activity". I am... intrigued... and curious as to where it goes from here.

This just came out on iTunes in the UK, and I grabbed a season pass and I'm two episodes in and loving it. Last night's episode was the one with the 'doll tree' and I found it to be sufficiently creepy, indeed. Hoping it maintains its strengths.
