I missed the season premiere of D-List, but just now while looking for it on YouTube I stumbled across this (Three part-er of Kathy on the Ryan Seacrest show):

Anyone watch tonight? I think this is probably one of my favorite episodes of D-List ever. I was laughing pretty much throughout the entire thing. And I'm beyond excited for next weeks Levi Johnson episode.

Levi Johnson episode.
kathy & levi should totes release a sextape. could you imagine the press she'd get? even if it were completely staged, it would be hilar. we all know she'll do anything for a headline! (plus, i kinda wanna see levi's junk )

Oh god, she made me laugh so hard when she was talking about her designer. "Kenny clearly has an interior design hard-on, and he wants to fuck the shit out of my house."

I'm not done with the episode yet but the previews are already making me uncomfortable. Child pageants creep me out and most of those parents are soooo strange.

I'm excited about the Levi Johnston episode. He may not be the brightest crayon in the box but I think he's adorable and I have a soft spot for him.

It's a real shame he didn't go full-frontal in that Playgirl spread.

Lol at the last episode. 'It's like judging a meat loaf with a bandanna'.

As you can imagine, Kathy's pretty torn up about the fact that Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin are back together. She may have a new man in her sights now (one I agree with whole-heartedly).

So did the season finale air? My DVR didn't tape it and I can't find a listing for it.

What was the season finale supposed to be? The last one I saw was where she threw a variety show for the people who lived in her mom's building. It was an okay episode. Cloris Leachman was on it and she was... well, insane. But I got some laughs out of it.

Did you see the one where her dog, Chance, passed away? When she broke down and started crying in her interview... ugh, that was sad. The only other time I've really seen Kathy do that is when her dad died.

Yeah, I missed that one and I'm pretty sure that was the last one. We got a whole 8 episodes this season. I'll try to find it online.

Oh yeah, I cried when she cried about Chance. So sad.

A fairly serious Kathy on Larry King, speaking about Prop 8:

I do love that she went after Dr. Laura a bit at the beginning and end.

Larry: You don't think she's a doctor?
Kathy: I wouldn't go to her for a pap smear.

Love her when she's focused on an issue instead of just being spazzy! She's very calm and inviting, and hopefully it makes some opponents listen.

It was a very slow *cough* uneventful season, but the finale was super sweet. It's always cute to see her doing D-List gigs again for shits & giggles.

I agree it's not been the best season. It used to be so random and fun. Now some of it is so staged and phoney, like them watching Maggie's 'faceplace' video and pretending that she actually uploaded it and wasn't asked to record it etc.

^ I agree, and I think she really has milked Maggie's appeal beyond the breaking point. Seeing Maggie come on set in full make-up and make the same old comments about how troubling Kathy is just feels a stale at this point. And I guess I just don't find the whole box of wine bit as funny as everyone else does. But I still enjoy her, and the show as a whole. I found this season quite enjoyable, the few obviously-staged cringey moments aside.
