It's actually the first time I watch Big Brother and this is really entertaining :P

I really wanted Britney to win on her second try, but the show is still somehow quite entertaining nonetheless. Dan's certainly playing everyone rather expertly.

Also had no idea that Jenn used to be in the band Kittie. I'm kind of perplexed as to how she's stuck around this whole time - with the exception of the bold move she had with Frank, she's really layed low the entire time. I guess if you don't make yourself a target then no one will go after you... Safe to say she's probably the target from here on out though.

I don't know if Jenn was with the group at the beginning or at the end, but all the albums I have of Kittie (the middle of their career like Oracle) she is not a band member.

This season has been the best season I've seen as far as game play. DAN is a master of this game. And if he wins he will go down as the best to ever play the game. How he was able to convince Frank and Jenn to take him down was just out of this world impressive. He threw his own funeral, he threw Danielle under the bus (to protect the both of them) he convinced Frank, swearing on multiple items including his bible, wife, and necklace his father gave him - that they would work together.. convinced Frank the next week not to use the veto on himself even if he won it.. and then won HOH the night of the double eviction. He had to win that HOH because he would have been put up and possibly sent packing.
He has a final 2 deal with everyone and none of them know it- so far. He has worked the house from every angle.

Poor Britney.. I love her but she had no chance. You have to win competitions. Some people do get through to the final 2 without winning - they call it having the better social game - but the person who wins the whole thing always has won competitions.

The only way any of the other competitors can go on is to get rid of Dan.
I hope that Danielle, Shane and Jenn find out they are being played.
Dan will keep Jenn and Shane in the game as long as he can because they are the weakest players. He won't keep Danielle because she's had the best social game, not pissing anyone off and he knows he could lose to her. And Dan will do everything he can to get Ian out ASAP. Ian will win the game if he is in the final 2. Problem is for Ian.. he and Dan said their alliance was back on between the live show and the final eviction vote. Ian needs to do to Dan what Dan has done to everyone.. Promise him everything and backdoor him.

It's summer aka: Big Brother season.
12 Contestants were given invitations this year, not keys, so they all knew something was up.. and lets just get it out of the way, the BB motto is "Expect the unexpected."
The twist was that besides the 12 new house guests there would be four popular players from past seasons that would be coaches - three of the new guests per their team. So now there's two games going on in the house and I think it was a perfect move to keep BB fresh and exciting. And of course, when the guests are weeded out, there will be other twists.

The Coaches have no chance for the $500,000 prize. They are competing for a separate prize of $100,000 if a member of their team is the last man/woman standing.
The coaches are:
Dan Gheesling
Janelle Pierzina
Mike Boogie Malin
Britney Haynes

Tonights competition Britney's team won - so she got to choose who the HOH was from her team. The losing team, Dan, had to send a member home that night, which is why the contestants were not given keys. Dan voted off Jodi for immediate eviction. Britney awarded Willie as HOH.

NOW here is where I have a cool little connection with the new cast. Wil (with one L) is from Louisville. Wil Heasuer (I think that is how he spells his last name) I know him, have seen him many times in town, in fact, he sang at one of my ex's apartment a few years back. He also was on one of the game shows on Logo. I always felt Wil was a big fish in small pond, many people used to say that he couldn't make it in Hollywood because there were so many guys like him competing for stardum.. no one told me that he was on the show, and I am friends with a lot of his friends on facebook.. none of them mentioned it at all the weeks leading up to the show. And when I went to look him up on fb, of course, because of the shows requirement, it was gone - deactivated.

I was completely shocked to see his pretty face pop up with the new cast. Of course Wil doesn't know me from Adam.. but I am extremely happy he gets to shine, because the few times I was around him he was completely, completely cool and nice and just always happy.

Alright, so, I remember a few of you were obsessed with last season with me.. and I hope you all post your thoughts, anything you've heard from a live feed, etc.

Wow, I'm so excited there's a thread for this. This show is my summer obsession. Obsession.

Does anyone watch the feeds? I don't, but I check JokersUpdates pretty frequently for updates. It's amazing what CBS chooses to show and what they don't. Danielle is CAH-RAZY.

I'm so impressed with Dan this season. He's always been one of my favorite players, but his game play this season has really cemented it for me. Like, I get so turned on watching him play the game. He's just a MASTER and so smart about everything. People love to say Dr. Will is the best player, but I think Dan is. He can win competitions and he has an impeccable social game.

I was so bummed that Janelle got voted out so early. And sad that Britney didn't stick around longer...she's absolutely hilarious. But, when she loses things, she gets way too whiny.

I like Shane; he seems like a sweetheart. But, I don't think he's too bright.

I'm rooting for Dan and Ian, but I have a feeling they won't be final two. I think Ian is adorable and he's really come through and improved his game. At first I was annoyed because he kept throwing competitions and offering to go on slop, etc, but he's really stepped it up. Plus, he was partly responsible for the ousting of the most vile creature, Mike Boogie.

I liked Frank when he wasn't working with Mike, but he had a terrible social game. I did not like how he exited the house last night. Kind of a douche, which is reflected more on the feeds than on the show.

The only thing I wish would've happened last night was for Dan to throw the vote so it would've been evenly split. That way Ian could've sent Frank packing and been directly responsible for it..

Plus it probably would've solidifed Dan's dealings with Jenn. I haven't been watching any live feeds (and want to refrain from spoilers as to HOH until Wednesday!!) but I can only assume Jenn knows it's over at this point.

If wiki is to be believed, Jenn should be on Kittie's "Until the End" album - or perhaps maybe she was only a live member.

I watch Big Brother Afterdark.. have for years. I love it. You would think there would be huge blocks of time with no game play, and maybe there are during the daytime, but at night.. everyone is whispering and calculating and cultivating.... making deals.
I am not watching BB Afterdark this week. I already know who the HOH is but I don't want to be spoiled as to whom he/she has chosen to go up on the block. I have expectations and scenarios going on in my head, and I can see how she/he could put up almost anyone at this point for various reasons.

Dan is brilliant. He is using so many techniques to move through this game. I love how he flat out said, "These people know how I won last time. They know that I was loyal to one person the entire time. Now they think if I make a deal with them, it is only with them.. they expect me to be loyal once more - but I have to change up everything this time and cut deals with everyone because they won't expect it."

The thing I hate most are players that are apathetic, that float along not trying to make a big move when their feet are to the fire. Ashley didn't even try. She was just having a fun paid vacation, and as much as I love Wil.. he had the worst strategy. Now I look at Danielle who has this awesome moment to really make a big move. If she could pull Shane and Jenn away from Dan.. they could run away with it. But she has to do it. Jenn is never going to go to Shane and Shane is never going to go to Jenn. Danielle makes a big move and forms an alternate alliance with those two.. they can get rid of Ian and Dan and the whole game is in the air. I don't see how she can't see it.. and of course she won't make a big move.. She might already be completely fine with Dan taking her to final two - if that scenario plays out - because she will get a nice chunk of change.
It is always a risk to take America's Sweetheart with you to the final two, however. And Dan has probably weighed the pros and cons of taking Danielle with him.
