America's Next Top Model, Cycle 15
 

So, this thread might die a quick death, but America's Next Top Model is pretty much the only reality show I watch religiously (I love Project Runway, but I usually catch that one post-season). I am now living outside of the US, but I still find it the day after and watch it immediately.

Anyway, I thought I'd start up a discussion of Cycle 15. This cycle is supposed to be the "high fashion" cycle, which I'm guessing is to help the show to avoid bad press from the sad fates of other ANTM winners and runners-up who now do religious hat modeling and wig modeling.

Anways, this season I am loving Ann, the extremely tall, gawky Texan, and Kayla, who seems very smart and down-to-earth.Kendel is absolutely beautiful and Terra is hilarious. I also love Esther's whole look, and this picture from a week ago is gorg:

I was so sad about Rhianna getting cut so early. That girl was adorable.

Tyra seems slightly less crazy this season.

I had no idea it had started back up!

I saw the epidose where they shot the commercial and Ann was pretty bad haha ( and most of them were too )
But i HATE the episode of the series where they only shot a commercial

I loved Rhianna , and her picture was not one of the worst at all !
And I am loving Ann too ! She's been pretty much the first one for all the weeks right now

I watched the first two episodes of it last night. I don't really have a favorite one at this point. I'm still getting to know who they are. But I am glad to see that Kendall is representing my state of Alabama.

What I really like about Ann is that she seems to have no ego--she doesn't seem to need to be like "oh, I'm gonna win and these bitches need to be ready!"--she doesn't really seem to get the whole reality-tv imposed narrative of women catfighting it to the top. Which is kind of amazing and refreshing to watch, since most people are already so used to the way you are supposed to act on these shows that they fit nicely into the stereotypes.

Most of the time , the best models are the one who are not aware of their beauty and that's pretty much the case for her

Yeah, Rhianna was eliminated way too early. I thought she had one of the best photos that week and her fallen angel shot was really stunning, too:

Wow, Ann is killing it! I'm in love with her. I really hope she goes all the way. Four first pictures in a row?! I thought it was really endearing how she thought she did horribly and the photo ended up being stunning.

Wow yeah i agree that picture of Rhianna is really cool ( the fallen angel one ) . I don't remember what's the name of the blonde one but i think she should have been eliminated . Her picture was just awful she looked least attractive than a dragqueen.

And on another note , does anyone else think , that Nigel Barker is hot as hell :P

I know Anamarie was eliminated for having eating problems, but she had such a great-looking face; it's a shame she does that to her body.

Do you mean Chelsey (the blonde one)? I don't think she's taken a single good picture AT ALL. But she was a good sport about getting her gap-tooth increased.

Nigel is hot as hell. He doesn't seem to age. And not in the creepy way that Jay doesn't seem to age (i.e. looks encased on plastic).

Yes ! that's Chelsey . Actually i don't remember her other pictures , i just remember the mermaid one ... but yeah i don't think she's photogenic at all but she does have a great look !

I am so glad Casey is gone. She had a beautiful face but undereye bags you could fit a snowsuit in. Also, she was the house bitch but wasn't even an interesting bitch.

I agree. And as much as I love Ann, I don't know if she deserved the first photo this week. Either way, five best photos in a row is insane.

Yeah, Jane was fucking beautiful this week. She's got an amazing face, but she seems completely blank as a person. It's strange. But maybe it's an editing thing--the show obviously focuses on whoever is going to be top or cut each week, so a lot of people are being ignored (like Esther, for example). I'm hoping she stays for a while longer so I can see what she can do.

yeah, she's definitely got an interesting face, and I like the teeth, but she can't seem to get it into a decent picture. I wish she (or maybe Jane, who is also pretty but boring in pics) would have been cut before Rhianna!
