I enjoyed the books (for what they are)... but really haven't liked any of the movies.

The movies got better each year. The first one sucked but I enjoyed the others.

Personally I'd rather stick pins up my japs eye than watch this.

Never read any of the books. Watched the 2nd Movie with my girlfriend at the time, didn't think much of it. Then I went with a group to watch the most recent one, not a fan if I'm honest. Really poor acting, but I can see the appeal with the younger audience.

I've seen a few of the movies, I think three? They were films I could do laundry and watch, I wasn't captivated. The scenery is beautiful though.

I've not read the books.

Read the books, enjoyed them more than the films. At least in the books, you can imagine how everything looks and sounds, as opposed to the films where everything is either washed out, surrounded by foreboding music, or shirtless.

I want to see the fourth film, but I liked the fourth book the most so I'm really worried it'll ruin it for me.
