I dunno, will it be impressionistic, representative, or abstract?

I want to check out ‘Slumdog...’ film got the second highest number of nominations, including best director for Danny Boyle.

Slumdog Millionaire was really good. The story relies too much on convenience and can become ridiculous at times, but the directing and cinematography were top-notch and I enjoyed many of the characters.

Nominees - The Oscars 2012 | Academy Awards 2012

Urgh. Barely seen any of the Best Picture nominees yet. But yay for von Sydow!

Better link.

I've only seen The Help. Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer were rightfully nominated, but the film itself didn't warrant a Best Picture nomination. I'm more surprised Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close scored a Best Picture nod. At least The Help received mostly good reviews. The same can't be said for ELaIC.

No Human Centipede 2 noms? wtf?
