I've been getting into anime alot lately and was basically wondering what ones everyone else likes the most, so poof, this topic was born. My favorite is Neon Genesis Evangelion, but Princess Mononoke comes in at a close second if not tied for my favourite. So what are yours?

Well, if your talking about TV then it's Dragon Ball Z, hands down. But if your talking about Anime movies, then it would have to be Vampire Hunter D - Bloodlust.

The only anime I watched and like is Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball GT. I cant get into any other anime shows, they just dont catch my eye.

Um to be honest i have never really seen a whole lot of it but out of what i have seen i really enjoyed the whole of DragonBall to GT i thought it was amazing and the characters where cool.

other than that i liked Animatrix(i hope this counts) mainly due to the fact i like the matrix so much.

Princess Mononoke is my favorite. Same guy who did Spirited Away which is also a very good film. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust would be a third I suppose, but there was quite a few things I didn't like about it.

The only anime i ever watched was Pokemon...does that count? Cus i kinda thought pokemon was a cool show....LEAVE ME ALONE!!

Ah well, Dragon Ball is the most commercial sadly, it aint that good when u compare it to other greats!.

As for me, i found Princess Mononoke kinda boring, Vampire Hunter D was just weird . So, some of my favorite animes are
- Love Hina
- Elfen Lied ( I think all you ppl dat like violence will definetely dig this one, lol includes decapitations, missing limbs, and the occasional nudity , its not hardcore cartoon porn though).
- Azumanga Daioh
- Vandread

If u have a chance, try to watch Azumanga Daioh, its really funny as well, but in a non perverted way

when i was around 3rd 4th grade pokemon was all over the place and i loved it..i bought all the damn cards and i never even battled anyone,,i dont even know how i was just a card collector and when i look back at my cards i always wonder how much friggin money did i waste on this crap? they dont even talk they just say their names like retards..but i was a fan of it for some reason..then i moved on to liking dragon ball z/gt..havent really been watching much anime since 2 years ago..

DAMN everyone is mainstream here! Pokèmon? Dragonball? Okay, they're decent series to start with, but they suck. Neither show has any depth whatsoever. "Pikachu, I choose you! PIKA! Yay! Now we can be best friends FOREVER! PIKA!" AAAARHG! (`_´)
My favorite at the moment is Berzerk. Even though the end of the serie reminds me of End of Eva, it's still pretty entertaining as a whole.

Anyway, I hardly watches Anime shows, but I especially like watching those funny ones (Love Hina) or extremly magical ones (CCS). I don't like those robotic kinds one (Gundam) or just plain old love stories (With an exception Dragonball Z, I can't bring myself to like it). Recently, I am watching Inuyasha and The Twelve Kingdoms, although I don't really know much about the storyline. I really love these two series so far, they have excellent storylines and they are all in jap! Woo! There are the subtitles, and with the addition of those japanese speaking, the shows truly rox.

as far as shows go. Hellsing and Seven Samurai are top notch ^_^. I'm still waiting for the rest of Seven Samurai to hit.

Yes!, most of the Dubs stink, they sound so "cartoony" when compared to the japanese which sound natural.

If someone wants a good, simple anime with good humor, watch Naruto. You can find torrents all over the net. (^_^)
