This movie looks fucking hot

Holy crap this movie looks amazing...looks like it actually has potential to out do the greatness of T2. Christian Bale should prove to be an awesome John Connor too.

So john connor is batman? Def using the batman voice in this movie. I dunno, looks like another average sci fi flick to me. Didnt see anything special to it at all. Looks like terminator meets irobot meets transformers

No way in hell will this out do T2 lol, which in my opinion is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, sequel ever made. With that said, i have mixed opinions on the movie. Like Kayta said it definitely has a transformer vibe to it, but i'm still going to see it when it comes out.

I suppose it would have some Transformers feel, except this time it's like the big, bad Megatron bots are there to kill you. Optimus Prime and his gang is not there to save you.

the trailer looks VERY nice, and has me anxious to see this movie! I'm leaning more toward what Viper said. just from the early speculations and the look of the trailer, it does seem it could be the 2nd best Terminator movie after T2. what really just caught my attention is it seems there's a human opposite of John Conner? "you tried killing my mother. you killed my father...you will not kill me." all this time Conner is supposed to be the savior, but there seems to be another human causing all this to happen? VERY interesting.

Even if it's a disappointment I'm at least preparing to give them credit for taking the material more seriously than T3 did.

I'll be interested to see how Arnie-a-like Roland Kickinger gets on as the Terminator, though I dunno how big his role in this is. We need to prepare for the fact that these movies will have a different vibe as we're into post-apocalyptic war territory and not a film with one antagonist as we've had previously.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Even if Bale's voice is just his Batman one but slightly less gruff, it has to be better than Nick Stahl's incessant whining.

That is not a T-800, the guy Connor is talking to is Marcus Wright.

Spoiler: He's a bit of a hybrid. The T-800 Model 101 Terminator WILL be in the movie as they are CGing Arnold's face onto Roland Kickinger's body.
