I never fully watched the first. But it's really popular with the little kids, I've noticed. My niece even asked me to buy the latest issue of tv guide, she'd just saw the cast on the cover. I think second sequel is coming this august already. Does anyone here watch it too?

I think I'll try to watch the second one. I've seen some of the behind the scenes and interviews of the cast from HSM 2, it's in the cd-rom I got from tv guide's august 13th issue. I heard zac efron will finally sings his songs too in HSM 2.

All I can ask is it doesn't bomb as bad as Grease 2. Oh god that movie was horrible. Though with Disney backing it, it shouldn't be that bad

HSM 2 is like a week away...I enjoyed the first part , it was a fun light hearted film....squeeky clean and a bit cheesy, just like grease was. Check out their cover on tv guide looks really good

High School Musical was perhaps the most godawful piece of shit I believe has ever been printed on film. That piece of crap made me and all of my theatre friends ashamed to be high school thespians. I fully expect the sequel to be equally bad.

I don't watch it, but I have seen comercials for it, & i was surprised when i found out that Ashley Tisdale was 22 (I only found it out because i saw a nip slip of her, & i wondered how old she actually was).

Ashley is legal. She's actually on the front cover too of tv guide together with Lucas and Corbin. The magazine actually has two covers.

so, what did everyone think of HSM 2, i loved it it was really good, it was just as good or if not better than the first (and the 1st one was really good)
