Default Mufti Zarwali Khan (db) Tafseer

I wanted to ask the people of knowledge if they have any insight on Mufti Zarwali Khan's tafseer that is done throughout Ramadan. I understand he is of Deobandi background but is he considered extreme in that case? I ask b/c someone has been listening to his tafseer and they have said he makes a few points which I have not heard before..

1) 20 rakaat Taraweeh is prayed as 8 Taraweeh sunnah and then 12 nafl Taraweeh .. maybe Im relaying the message wrong but there is some confusion here, no?
2) Witr is prayed at the end and no further salaat should be prayed after witr.. so one should not pray witr with jamaat if they plan on praying nafl later?
3) 6 fasts of Shaiwwal are a Biddah

Any insight? His profile shows a link to Maulana Anwar Shah Kashmiri RA, so obviously he is deserving of utmost respect and credibility, but hopefully someone can clarify these notions..

I sit in his Majalis Alhamdulillah. Such points are not only spoken in the tafseer but normally after daily prayers as well. About the points you mentioned

1) He says that according to many Fuqaha, the 20 rakaat Taraweeh comprises on the 8 Rakaat Qiyam ul Lail + 12 Rakaat Tahajjud and thus there is no need to offer any more Tahajjud prayers at night as we already offered them.

2) According to Mufti ZWK Sahab, Rasul Allah AS said that Witr should be the last prayer of the night. He is kind of obsessed with this issue as he keeps on mentioning it again and again and again. He has written a brief book on this = Ahsan ul Itr Fi Tahqeeqar Rakateen Baad'al Witr ( Available on Ahsanul Uloom's website ). According to him if we do intend to offer Nawafil in the midst of the night later then we should skip the Witr Jamaat and offer it later at the end. But this view is not held by the majority of the Deo Ulema. The other Ulema say that the Witr jamaat shouldn't be skipped as it is only offered in Jamaat in Ramadan therefore it is special. I went to another Mufti to discuss this issue. He was aware of Mufti ZWK's stance about witr and said that a number of Ulema have answered Mufti ZWK's current stance like Mufti Abdur Rauf Sakarvi and Maulana Sami ul Haq of Jamia Haqqania who has completed rebutted Mufti ZWK's stance ( according to this other Mufti ) in the Al-Haq magazine which I can't find.

I want to know what is done in the Haramain, is Witr Jamaat offered after the Qiyam ul Lail prayer late night?

3) According to Mufti ZWK Sahab, Imam Malik RU has said that these 6 fasts of Shawal are Haram, Bidah, Against the Sunnah and shouldn't be kept. He also mentioned Imam Abu Hanifa RU's similar stance on this. Mufti ZWK sent a letter to the people in Masjid e Nabwi citing Imam Malik RU's stance on this issue as they didn't quote it in the Juma Khutba there.

I would suggest going through the Witr issue from both sides, choosing the more cautious option regarding the 6 Fasts of Shawaal. Mufti ZWK Sahab has many contradictory views to the rest of the Ulema, but both being right in their respectful views.
