Default Quick question about the validity of a fast.
Ok, so today Fajr was at 4:25AM. I drink water till one minute before and completely stop before it reaches the time (although I will now try to stop a few minutes before).

So today, I'm sipping on water and read something while taking some nasty tasting medicine real quick and while sipping the water which was literally going down my throat at that moment, I noticed it was 4:25AM.

I stop and make niyyah. But while trying to gather information on this subject, I read that, if one unintentionally continues eating/drinking after Fajr time has begun, their fast is invalid, and such you have to do Qadha. I have some questions about how to proceed and some more information.

1. After I had started my fast, the nasty taste of the medicine was still completely there since I didn't fully wash it down, even 2-3 minutes after (takes a while even when it's not Ramadhan), I could taste it and swallowed saliva with the taste (and spit some out too). Does this also invalidate the fast even if the first act of starting my fast right at Fajr possibly didn't?

2. I have read breaking the fast now, if it is really already invalidated does not require Kaffarah, but it is Mukrooh Tahrimi, which I believe is pretty sinful, but not as bad as haram. I read it's Wajib to continue the fast, although fasting is very hard on me mentally. If I have to do Qadha anyway, would it be really bad for me to break it now?

3. Mosques in the 30 mile range are showing times ranging from 4:24AM to 4:26AM, especially the mosque I had been following from my old home town for the past 3 years, which is also 4:26AM. Am I in the clear if other places have it at 4:26AM?

Thanks brothers and sisters. Sorry for the questions. I'm trying to be more consistent with things nowadays and I also suffer from some very severe anxiety.

Well I ended up breaking the fast, under the impression that my fast was not valid in the first place despite it being a few seconds into Fajr. I couldn't take the consistent doubt I was feeling. I tried to go all day, but I woke up to go the bathroom, and the thoughts just crept right back in and became too overwhelming and I drank water.

I will make Qadha. I just hope it wasn't valid and now I've screwed up. I went by these two points

"7. Eating by error after the ending of Sahri time necessitates QADHA of the fast. If one ate under the mistaken Impression that it was still Sahri time, the fast of the following day will not be valid. However, it is Wajib (compulsory) to abstain from all acts which break Saum and to remain like a Sa-im (a fasting person). Qadha of the fast will have to be made after Ramadhan.

8. A doubt in the ending of Sahri time will not invalidate the fast although it is Makrooh (a sinful act) to eat when there is a doubt as to the existence of Sahri time. But qadha will not be compulsory. Nevertheless, in view of the doubt, it will be better to make qadha of such a fast. "

Specifically with 8. I'm not sure it this was enough to doubt the end of Sehri if my local masjid has a clear cut 4:25AM Fajr time and a 4:15AM Imsak time (despite a mosque 10-15 miles away having 4:26AM as Fajr)
