similar to the women who were on the battle field. then what say you of muslim men who play soccer & women watching them.

You are comparing the useless event of female soccer to Jihad? Allahul Musta'aan. Do you know what the fuqaha have ruled regarding women's participation in Jihad?

Please inform me from the entire Seerah of Rasulullah , actions of the Sahaabah and the rulings of the fuqaha where such an organised sporting activity for females was encouraged or even deemed permissible?

When running is not allowed during ramal when carrying out tawaaf of the Kaabah and the jogging whilst carrying out Sa'ee for females by what stretch of imagination do you feel it will be allowed for women to prance around like baboons over a ball, be televised with an unknown number of males watching?

Please brother I beseech you to use your intelligence and think with the Deeni firaasat that a Mu'min has been given before proffering the analogy of Jihaad.

Rasulullah has said,

" You will follow the ways of those nations who preceded you very closely; even if they entered a lizard's hole you would follow them into it." (Sahih Bukhari - Volume 4, Book 56, Number 771)

you right I deleted my post. but is there a difference between a man pouncing around a ball like a baboon & a women doing it. the objective is exactly the same & the audience is also the same. but the men make no effort to cover the awrah but here we see a girl 9 years old, possible she isnt even baligh who refuses to drop the hijaab while playing sport. what inspiration is she for the women who drop hijaab for the sake of their careers.

There is a hadith where the Rasul had a race running with Aisha (RA) the mother of the believers. I assume it must have been somewhere isolated. Spectator sports is a useless activity and people are so cought up in it, spending days and years of their lives on such.

my brother.

My opinion is the same as with regards men also however many will disagree. The whole idea of spectator sports is abhorrent as the aim is futility and taking away from the Remembrance of Allah . Physical activity where a few brothers get together for physical fitness is a different aspect.

Brother, Hadhrat A'isha was fully covered by Rasulullah as she saw the training for physical combat of the Sahaabah. This is an isolated incident which in no way denotes permissibility of widespread female participation in spectator sports. Please also bear in mind that Hadhrat A'isha was within her own home and with her mahram. The question then also arises that if a spectator sports were permissible due to this hadith where were the other Sahaabiyah? Why is there not any other incident showing the mass participation of the Sahaabiyah ladies in watching the men training etc?

May Allah forigve our shortcomings and accept our ibaadat during this month.

however she RAH was spectating & she watched until she had enough & Rasulullah SAWS stayed until she had enough. if memory servers me well the hadith doesnt speak about training. yes he did cover her but the hadith as you said had nothing to do with female participation but rather spectation.

The fact also remains that this is an isolated incident which does not cancel the laws of khurooj-e-nisaa with regards to spectator sports. It also needs to be investigated whether this incident took place before the ruling of Hijaab was revealed in the Quraan as well. Again the question arises that if this was the accepted practice where were the other Sahaabiyah? Surely there would have been occasions where the sahaabiyah en masse gathered at a place to watch the Sahaabah training or engaging in physical fitness?

There are also these type of people also:

45:23 Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has, knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart (and understanding), and put a cover on his sight. Who, then, will guide him after Allah (has withdrawn Guidance)? Will ye not then receive admonition?

it must have been after the advent of hijab because Rasulullah sAWS was screening her. isolated or not she was watching. however are there ahadith making it haraam to watch or spectate. are there ahadith against sports or having fun because most of us play sport for enjoyment & others enjoy watching.

Correct. The deen is yusr within the parameters provided by the Shariah. It is not yusr to make it fit your desires and then say this is deen.

Exactly and one must not make it 3usr so it fits in with one's narrowminded desires based on one's upbringing/culture.

Lets hope that people do not use the upbringing/culture scapegoat to attack the Shariah when it violently opposes their nafsaani desires.

we call them as ulema e haq and i assure you none of us grew up with them. many werent even raised in religious families let alone related to a scholar. what a poor argument equating islam you don't like to 'culture'
