Does anyone know how to remove pictures from ID cards without damaging the card??

the card is plastic and has a magnetic strip thing and is read by a machine so i can't physically scratch it out as it will damage the card...the picture is printed on to the plastic...any other suggestions of how to remove it?

Can you get another card issued and explain the reason for not wanting your photo on the card?

[I would imagine it might cause a problem though since the point is to be able to identify the person holding the card, should they ever need to see your card.]

Oh, I see. Can you put something (like a sticky note) on the photo to cover it? And, if anyone ever demands to see the card, you can ask for a female to show it to.

Wouldn't that fall into lying? You can ask your little cousins to trace over it again with the marker. And then you can truthfully blame them. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...cheesygrin.gif

Don't know about London, but perhaps in Canada they wouldn't even allow you that. They let the Muslim brothers take their picture in the topi because after what happened with a Sikh guy and his turban some 2 years ago.

That was funny. The sticky note was a good idea. I know someone who did that with her work card. She decorated the outer part of her card (card cover) with all sorts of stickers n bejweled it so that it was all covered. If she had to ever prove her identiry, she would just pull it out. she was able to swipe in n out even with it decorated!

she wasnt muslim though, so the decorating was okay for her I guess
