There was a post going on about "Muslims in Olympics" which was deleted.

I do hope members weren't implying that watching an isolated event in the Olympics (e.g. Equestrian, cycling, archery) is "taking part in paganism" or "forgetting the boundaries between halaal and haraam". As long as that specific event is not breaking the law (e.g. all men, no 'awrah showing, no music etc., not distracting from salah), then I don't see what's wrong with it. It's the same as watching cricket or any other sport.
