This sister made a query about Muslim man refusing eye contact with women in February. We made a mess of it but even then she spent time on Islam. After two months she has responded. |

JiǎngDecision to convert is a mighty one. You are making a complete break with your past. This entails a breakup with your family, friends and social circles. Though some times the break is temporary because the family might follow into Islam but so many times the person is left all alone - marooned in the middle of society. Brother Jiǎng had these things on his mind when he arrived at SF. In post number 14 he say his Shahadah.
Psychologists tell us that the decision on part of an individual to grow up is big step that only few people take up. To break up with your past and submit your will to the Will of Allah (SWT) is biggest of such decisions to grow up. No wonder a Shahadah is the most overwhelming even that we Muslims witness in our lives. Every individual crossing the line sweeps us off our feet. |

And it wouldn't have happened without the help and support of people on the forum, so sincerely, thank you all. ![]() On our part we are so acutely aware that our efforts are so painfully miserable even in the category of efforts. Guidance indeed is from Allah (SWT) only. Very happy to have you with us. |
