This one is from the previous Friday. The Imam spoke at length about following the sunnah.

Last week:
Today's Friday Sermon was based on the following Hadith:
“Take benefit of five before five:
your youth before your old age,
your health before your sickness,
your wealth before your poverty,
your free-time before your preoccupation,
and your life before your death.”

The Imam stressed on the fact that once we loose our youth, physical activity will be tougher. So he urged the youth to do more Ibadah now itself. Also he said one can never be sure if he/she will be alive to see the next day.

He Also mentioned two Examples of our pious predecessors on how meticulous they were while Doing good deeds.

1. Abdullah ibn Mubarak (ra) was once fighting in a war for Islam. When it was time for Salat, he went to a river nearby, tied his horse and made wudu. By the time he finished Salat, the horse had wandered to a nearby field and ate the crops. Abdullah ibn Mubarak (ra) was very disheartened as the horse ate the crops without the permission of the fields Owner. He then insisted the owner to keep the horse. And he got another horse and said he cannot strive in the way of Allah on a horse that has consumed what did not belong to it.

2. Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal (ra) once heard that a man far of in Damascus has got a specific hadith. So he traveled to Damascus to meet the person. When he reach there he saw the man with a donkey and has put more than the donkey can carry. The donkey refused to move forward, so the man tricked the donkey with an empty basket as if it has food in it. The donkey hence moved forward think the basket had food in it. Seeing this Imam Hanbal refused to seek the Hadith from this man and returned back.






Todays Sermon was based on the following Hadith:
It is narrated that, The prophet Muhammad said: “The son of Adam will not pass away from Allah until he is asked about five things:
how he lived his life,
how he utilized his youth,
with what means did he earn his wealth,
how did he spend his wealth, and
what did he do with his knowledge.”
(At-Tirmithi)

The Imam also mentioned to do more good deeds to please Allah, for He will be merciful to those who does good deeds.

well today I prayed in jama masjid mallepally, Hyderabad,India.
I went there at the last moment but listen somewhat.Moulana shah Jamal-ur-rahmaan sahab miftahi sahab has said about the youth what they are doing. As the holidays are going for the children they should make their deen by listening pious people. Then moulana announced about sheikh zulfiqar ahmed sahab 2 day visit to hyderabad. That we should take advantage from these pious people.

In todays Friday Sermon the Imam was talking about the importance of Women. He was stressing on the excellence of bringing up a girl. During the time of our Rasoolullah women did not have inheritance and even worse daughters were killed at a young age. All this practices were stopped by our Rasoolullah with the Revelation of concerned Ayahs.

Also He mentioned the following Hadiths on how highly rewarding is to look after one's daughters, and being kind to girls.

“Whoever has three daughters or sisters, or two daughters of two sisters, and lives along with them in a good manner, and has patience with them, and fears Allah with regard to them will enter Paradise.” (Reported by Abu Dawud, Al-Tirmidhee and others)

“Whoever takes care of two girls until they reach adulthood - he and I will come (together) on the Day of Resurrection - and he interlaced his fingers (meaning in Paradise).” (Reported by Muslim)

"They will be a shield for him from the Fire." (Reported by Ahmad and Ibn Maajah)

Today the Imam was talking about the relationship between Faith(Imaan) and deeds. He stressed that we should not stop with just Believing in Islam, but our actions also should be like Muslims.

Today the imam hazrat sheikh Maulana Abdus Sattar, Masjid Baitus Salam, Karachi talked about what we should we learn from shahadat of sheikh osama. Aforetime when muslims had strong contact with Allah SWT and when they had their life based on the life of Nabi SAW and when they had love and respect for the sahabahs (RA), and based their learning and brought up on kalam of Allah SWT, muslims used to recognize right and wrong, their friends and enemies and they felt proud in mentioning the names of heroes like Khalid bin walid (RA), salahuddin Ayyubi (RA), Sultane Tipu (RA) and so on. Salahuddin Ayyubi too fought against the jews to save the Baitul muqaddas and haramain and sheikh Osama too fought for the same, he had pain for the muslims of palestine, born in a very rich family where he can eat with golden spoon, he moved to the City of Prophet SAW and sacrificed that and made hijrah to sudan and set his camp in afganistan.

Some are blessed with spending their wealth in path of Allah, some their lives and some their family while Allah SWt blessed Sheikh Osama in such a way that he sacrificed his wealth, family and soul all in the path of Allah SWT and instead of mentioning the name of this hero with pride, today muslims are scared of mentioning his name which is the consequence of moving away from Allah's book, Prophet's life and sahabahs love and his learning is based on ghair muslims books and not on the Book of Allah SWT and the result is he thinks as the west wants to think him, His thoughts, his worries are not for islam and eeman but as wanted by the outsiders. Whole world worked against Sheikh Osama and he bore all the humilation for islam and had the steadfastness till the end. maashaaAllah. He left the muslims with the lesson and all his worries, humiliation and distress ended. He was accused of being an american agent and what not and if he is the agent, he wouldnt have left his luxurious life and lead such a life for the agents live the luxurious life given by the enemies of islam like the rulers. Sheikh Osama is a muhsin of muslims, sheikh Mullah Omar is the mushsin of muslims. It is more blessed to scarifice one's life like this for it becomes precious and that is why Prophet SAW prayed Allah SWT to make him martyr, then give the life and send back to fight, make him a martyr again and give back the live to fight again to die in HIs path and he wanted this to happen thrice.

our shaikhul hadis mo.hanif sb luharvi(d.b) delivered bayan about " Amazing fazilat of ummate muhammadia saw"
in very starting of bayan hazrat mentioned 1 sentence of hazrat ji mo.yusuf sb r.a,this is amazing and summary of bayan
"jab tak ye ummat allah k samne aansu girane wali rahegi,ummat k masle hal honge or jab ye ummat deen se mazak krengi to allah ka azab aayega"
(Until this Ummah will remain one which drops tears in front of Allah, the issues of the Ummah will be solved; and when this Ummah begins to mock the religion, then the punishment of Allah will come.)

The Excellence of Reciting The Quran




Today the Imam talked about the Importance of Reciting the Quran. He said the Quran is like the light and the Believers are supposed to follow this light. We are supposed to recite it as often as possible. The Quran will come as an intercessor in the Day of Judgment.

Abu Umamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying, "Read the Qur'an, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection.''

He also stressed the importance of also acting correctly as mentioned in the Quran. Then he mentioned the abundant reward for reciting the Quran:-

Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"Envy is justified in regard to two types of persons only:
a man whom Allah has given knowledge of the Qur'an, and so he recites it during the night and during the day; and a man whom Allah has given wealth and so he spends from it during the night and during the day.''[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

He also warned that if one distances oneself from Quran that person is like a ruined house.

Ibn 'Abbas stated that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "A person who has nothing of the Qur'an inside him is like a ruined house."
