Default Tarawih for Non Fasting Person

Quick question. Does a person have to perform tarawih even if they are unable to fast due to illness etc? If no, is it still recommended for them if they are able, whether in jamaah or at home alone?

Taraweeh isnt FARD, once Rasool saw did not come to the Masjid to perform the Taraweeh fearing that this Taraweeh salaah would become compulsory for ummah

Like brother Servant.of.Allah has said, taraweeh is not fard.

However is a person who unable to fast want to perform taraweeh, it's allowed.

for the replies. I was wondering whether it remains sunnah muakkadah upon the person, and so if not performed will incur sin?

It's not sin if we leave (not perform) salah taraweeh. But we would get reward if we perform salah taraweeh.

Yes but if one makes a habit of leaving it, then it does incur sin.

So my question is again, is the tarawih prayer sunnah muakkadah even for the non fasting person?

Yes, Taraweeh is a Sunnah Muakaddah in Ramadan be it fasting or not fasting, but if your ill and cannot perform it in jama'3h nor by yourself then you won't perform it. It all depends on one's excuse and how ill one may be.
