You’ve made a bold decision and, to me, that’s really admirable. Being bold, I’d say, is a manifestation of our trust in Allah SWT. However, we can ONLY trust in Allah SWT if we are being sincere (or at least are trying real hard to be). If that’s the case with you my young brother, then Allah SWT will MOST DEFINITLEY help you. And with Allah SWT by your side, who else do you need? That’s right..NO ONE. Not your parents, not SF, not anyone. I know it may seem like they’ve got the power to help you but really they don’t. They are powerless and can’t do anything before having first been granted permission by Allah SWT.

“And to Allah return all the matters (for decision).” [ Suratul Hadid, verse 5]

So no one can help you (or harm you) except by Allah’s SWT permission. We are all powerless and Allah is the all Powerful, the Most Appreciative.

I hope I’m making sense to you little bro. Basically, strong Iman is all you need to achieve any noble goal of yours so work on it and may Allah SWT help you.
