Default Gay "Imam" blesses union of gay Muslim couple in France
"Two Muslim gay men, deeply in love, tied the knot in France with the blessing of an imam.

Ludovic Mohamed Zahed, a French man of Algerian origin, and his South African partner Qiyam al-Din, were reportedly married in accordance to the Sharia (Islamic law) in the presence of a Mauritian imam named Jamal who blessed their union on February 12, 2012, according to a report in Albawbaba on April 2.

The two were previously able to marry in South Africa under the country’s same sex marriage laws, which also permits gay couples to adopt but France does not recognize same sex unions.

Zahed shared his story with France 24 TV, telling the channel how he met Din last year at a convention on AIDS in South Africa.

“I was in the lecture hall when an imam, who incidentally is gay himself, introduced me to Din. We discovered we had a lot in common and a mutual admiration was cemented. I stayed on after the convention for two months, deciding to get married, since South African laws were more friendly [to same sex unions],” he said.

After the wedding that was organized by Din’s family, the couple decided to return to France and settle down in a Parisian suburb, hoping that the French government would recognize the legality of their marriage.

But the French authorities refused.

Zahed, who has his family’s blessings for the marriage, says that he faces more obstacles with the French law than discrimination from Muslims.

Although his legal settlement was still pending, Zahed decided to make his wedding a family affair, with his trusted Mauritian imam in tow. The marriage took place in a modest house in Servon on the outskirts of Paris, and was attended by his parents and few close friends.

“Being married in front of my family, was like a new start of life for me, I could have never imagined such a day would come, seeing the joy in my parents’ eyes after they had battled with my sexuality and tried with all their might to change the course of my sexual orientation,” he said.

the 2 men are introduced by a gay 'imam'.

'marriage' is performed by an imam.

they have the blessing of their family.

Sabr. Sabr.

These kinds of news stories serve to injure good hearts. They who empower Munkar and repress Marouf expose clear evidence of their evil intent and animity towards Allah.

Allah will certainly deal with these beings... we will be able to see how Allah deals with them.

Today one can do any sort of unislamic things and people can get someone in the name of imam or alim to carry out that act, even be it the filthiest thing.
I read few years before where a imam conducted marriage between a muslim girl and a hindu boy and no he didnt convert. Allahu alam
Let Allah SWT guide this ummah. Ameen

Brothers, we shold expect far worse.

Everyday, they bring forth a new degrading low.

The enemies of Allah will most likely surpass previous generations in their evil. On that note, I expect these beings who follow hedonism of the pagan Greeks to surpass them and engage in sexualized human sacrifice and cannibalism not to mention mass slaughter in unimaginable depths.

Purification is the objective of the believer. The propagation of these kinds of stories by the evil Taghut media serves as a rebellion against purification. Rather, they seek to undermine purification and Good, as if that will 'liberate' people. This is their game- rebellion against Good, support for Evil, defiance and rebellion against Right.

But as they plan, Allah plans, and Allah is the Best and most excellent of Planners.

But it's important that we SEE WHO is calling this sodomite an imam.

This is what happens when you recognize Fiqh of Minorities. National regimes become empowered to formulate their own versions of Islam, to 'christianize' or anoint who can be an imam according to which every nationalist ideological standard.

I just saw on Deutsche Welle a report on a new 'imam' program for state controlled imams. in this report, they admit that they adopted standards and curriculi from Muslim countries like Turkey. Turkey being controlled by secular kemalist fascists for 90 years.

So yes, fiqh of minorities leads to 'imams' as defined by nationalist regimes who seek to engineer their own versions of Islam, including gay imams who 'marry' sodomites.

I dont call a GAY as Imam, hence I dont see anything here related to my religion.

If a guy marries a guy, then its not a Islamic Marriage.

LOL, recently one masjid comittee gave fatwa on halal certification for one chain of restaurant in Chennai. Later when a qualified scholar verified, the chickens are not Halah & the reason why they gave Halal certification is that "the poultry company was giving donations every year to the masjid"

LOL, whats this??

Qiyamah is near... these are signs

brother you are not the only one to recognize this pattern of social development and to use your imagination to consider where it is leading us. unfortunately I think you may have 'hit the nail on the head' with your description of what unpleasant social developments that the consumerist, individualistic amoral people who are the product of atheism and 'western freedom' could lead humanity to.
