proclaiming 'YA RASOOLALLAH' is permissible!!!!

Please provide evidence for the permissibility of proclaiming Ya Rasoolallah.

Pheboasmabs 07-07-2012 10:06 PM

Salam `Aleykum,

Ya Rassul-Allah means: "O Prophet of Allah".

I don't see any problem in this, do you?

bapimporb 07-07-2012 10:08 PM

No. However, the Wahhabis consider proclaiming ya rasoolallah as sin. So if anyone could provide evidence of permissibility?

That wasnt by question.

Beatris 07-07-2012 10:22 PM

Well they do consider it impermissible if one does it while making dua seeking to use him as a waseela for the acceptance of their dua.

So I think you should ask the OP to which Salafi claim he is responding by saying that saying "Ya Rasulullah" is permissible as even the Salafis (at least if Islam Q&A is an accurate gauge of what most Salafis believe) says that it is permissible to do so unless one intends to call upon him or unless one believes that even from afar he hears your statement. See post #7 of this thread: http://www.ummah.com/forum/showthrea...mad-%28pbuh%29 [sorry that I wasn't able to find the original statement from the website itself]

Please go search the forum for it.

We don't need to have a new thread of arguments.

Searching on the forum isn't a difficult task.

RooxiaNof 07-07-2012 10:28 PM

I have found on other websites that proclaiming Ya Rasoolullah is permissible and so is Tawassul

textarchive 07-07-2012 10:33 PM

this should help in searching the forum:

site:sunniforum.com 'ya'

site:sunniforum.com 'calling on other than Allah'

site:sunniforum.com 'istigatha'

you can make up your own combinations.

O the Mercy of the worlds! come to the help of Zainul Abidin,
He is in the clutches of the tyrrants in the crowds of the people.
Source? What have the Ulema said regarding the authenticity of the narration?

http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/salam.gif akhi,

you realize that my question was more of an ilzami one. OP's claim is mutlaq, while your clarification is muttasaf bil hai'yyah.

And Br. JaaAlHaqq.. make sure you do not search the SF as br. Imam Ghazali has asked you. Who knows you might find 10s of such threads..

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn 'Umar Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho once suffered from a cramp. Someone advised him to remember the person whom he loved the most. He proclaimed loudly, “Ya Muhammada!” He was immediately relieved. [al Adāb al Muf'rad, Page 250, Hadith 964]

OK everything is clear now

Imam Zain al-‘Abideen Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho (son of Imam Husain Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho) called out thus when proceeding towards Yazeed:

یارحمة للعلمين ادرک لذين العابدين
محبوس ايدی الظلمين في موكب المزدهم
O the Mercy of the worlds! come to the help of Zainul Abidin,
He is in the clutches of the tyrrants in the crowds of the people.

After the demise of Sayyiduna ‘Umar al-Faruq Radi ALLAHu Ta'ala Anho in 18 AH, there was a severe drought due to which Sayyiduna Bilal Ibn al Harith proclaimed, “Ya Muhammadah”. [al-Bidaya wa al-Nihaya, Vol 7, Page 91]

Its a shame when someone opens a thread with ulterior motives and then copies and paste from a barelwi website. SubhanAllah.. What has the haqq come down to.

Thread closed.

When I came across these types of forum post which are very sensitive in nature and can easily affect many people. It is always good to see that there are no religious topics are posted. If you see vikings essay blog in that the moderator does not allow any this kind of posts.
