An instruction of the Holy Qur'an given to Sayyidna Musa and Harun (A.S) in Surah Ta-Ha illustrates the principle observed by prophets in their Call: (Speak to him in gentle words, may be he takes to the advice or fears - 20:44).
This is a principle no Caller to Truth (da'i ila al-Haqq) should ever lose sight of. Let him always bear in mind that the Pharaoh was an infidel (kafir) known for his rebellion, one whose death was to come, as in ultimate Divine knowledge, while he was still a kafir. Now, when Allah Talla sends his man of the Call even to a disbelieving tyrant like the Pharaoh, He sends him with the instruction of talking to him gently . Today, the people we invite to Allah, to His Faith, they are not more astray than the Pharaoh. Then, none of us can claim to match Sayyidna Musa and Harun (A.S) as great guides and callers to the way of Allah. So, the right that Allah did not give to the two of his prophets - that they hurl hard talk on the addressee, throw taunts at him and insult him - where in the world did we get that right from? |

I'm 100% positive that certain members here have caused people they've come into contact with to flee Islam! I won't name names but you all probably know who they are. These aggressive, negative, loudmouths should just keep quiet and not represent the deen in any way. |

Allah s.w.t specially ordered Prophet Muhammed pbuh not to be harsh lest he repels people. So this is something established harshness in manner or speech= puts people off..no need to make excuses or let yourself/others off the hook. if we shun them then who knows who will influence them many a parent with experience will say,no matter how your teenage children behave keep them close to you for if they leave you and go into the wild so to speak,you will be the biggest loser |

You should visit the website ******************.com they have a lot of criticism of other salafis who they believe have adopted Terrorism and Modernism..they call them Qutubis, Ikhwanis etc. They also criticise Osama bin Laden, I think this group of Salafis is closely alligned to the Saudi regime. ![]() You're probably referring to the Madkhalis. They are an extremely disgraced group. Almost every Salafi has an extreme dislike of them. |

[QUOTE=Ahmed;790545]
then why was moses as commanded to speak to even pharoah softly why did prophet s.a.w. bear many difficulties and insults what about taif and his s.a.w. great historic dua because being soft and good mannered is part of good character and Pharoah was being invited so he would have no excuses. It does not mean that we can be rude, it just means that if someone leaves Islam because they claim to have been harshly treated by other Muslims their excuses will not count and the harsh Muslim will also be held accountable. If somone treats me harshly but I still remain a Muslim I will be rewarded because of my sincerity, if I leave Islam (nauthubillah) I will be punished because of my lack of sincerity. |
