Assalam o alaykum,
A new website of Ahl al-Sunnah, SunniDefense has launched their section called "Lies of Answering-Ansar" About “Lies of Answering Ansar” Every religion, sect or school of thought has its own way of propagating beliefs. The ways may significantly differ from one another, but they all can be said to be united under a single platform when it comes to speaking the truth and abandoning lies. There is barely any known school that allowed lying in general, let alone considering it permissible in matters of propagating religion. Among the different schools of thoughts that claim to follow the true path laid down by the Last of the Prophets, Muĥammad al-Muşţafá (saws), is the school of the Imāmiyya, the Ithnā `Ashariyya—generally known as the Shī`a these days. This school of thought, while keeping a perpetually negative view of the majority of Muslims, the Sunnīs, has focused solely on them for religious propagation. Their way of propagation, however, is a unique one. It is to first dissimulate and create a vibe of Shī`ī-Sunnī unity and religious tolerance among the Muslim masses, and then to deceptively introduce spiteful anti-Sunnī beliefs among the unwary and ignorant commoners. To achieve success in this way of propagation, the foremost tool has been that of dishonesty. Voluminous books and epistles are written by Shī`ī scholars in order to raise objections against the majority of the Muslims in an attempt to make the Sunnī commoners discriminatorily question their own leaders and the teachings of the Prophet (saws) they have soundly transmitted. The eminent Sunnī Scholar `Abd al-`Azīz ibn Walī Allāh al-Dihlawī (d. 1239), who was considered a Sunnī expert on Imāmī Shī`ī theology, has stated in this regard: ... Some students of sacred knowledge are behind it. With the approval of some distinguished scholars as well, alhamdulillah. Yes, it has just launched. This is the first article: 1 - The Qur’ān, `Umar (ra) and Sodomy with Women: Exposition of Answering-Ansar’s Web of Lies The Answering-Ansar team have dedicated an entire sub-chapter to a narration about `Umar ibn al-Khaţţāb (ra) and the revelation of a verse from Sura al-Baqara in their article entitled ‘Private lives of the Nasibi Salaf.’ This article shows how they have actually misquoted, mistranslated, distorted the narration, and blatantly lied in order to forward their views. Click here to read the article. wa `alaykum as salam |

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وصلى الله تعلى على سيد المرسلين وعلى اله وصحبه اجمعين
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله Khanbaba jazakAllah khayran brother for sharing this with us here. I must say, these brothers behind this site are waaay higher level than those high school kids at answering-ansar.com lol. Actually Ahlalbait.com had done enough because they proved that AA.com is distorters and liars so the whole of it can't be trusted anymore. It would be very great of those brothers to really refute the crucial beliefs of 12rsm which could be guide to Shi'as insha Allah. But ofcourse defending against those slanders is also very nice. |

May Allah make the firdaws abode of these noble brothers who made this site against the snakes in AA, i love the logo of the website which appears likes heads of people whose long tongues cast out like serpents, an accurate description of the rafidhis, who shamelessly for generations have lied on our books, and slandered those who are dear to us to create chaos and confusion, as the saying goes one cant hide the sun when it rises/glows, inshallah the brightness of truth will melt these smoke pipe dreamers & fantasizers and shame them the way their predecessors were shamed..

Salam Alaykum,
I will give my personal opinion, and I hope it will be taken into consideration by the management of this site: The AA.org site is an evil site, and I do not think any learned Sunni would disagree to this statement after reading what they have to say. However, AA.org is NOT run by 12er Shia Rabbis to the best of my knowledge. I think personally it would be best to see which of the arguments from sites like AA.org have been previously advanced by 12er Shia Rabbis, since most of them have already been written down by such Rabbis long ago, and the 12er Shia laity simply regurgitate them. Since AA.org is part of the Shia laity, answering them directly does not hold as much weight as answering the 12er Shia Rabbis who first came up with such anti-Islamic arguments. |

many years back i had the chance to debate some of those who write articles for AA, and from my experience they are not scholars, but rather of their lay who parrot their earlier polemic works of the likes of al-murajiaat, peshawar nights, etc. and from their stupidity can't compose something of their own indepedent research.

Assalam o alaykum,
New piece has been uploaded. Misquotation of al-Tafsīr al-Kabīr I: Sunnī Scholars and the Verse of Mut`a [4:24] The Ithnā `Asharī Shī`īs have always viewed temporary marriage [mut`a] as a permissible contract in Islam. Their foremost proof for this view has been a part of the 24th verse of Sura al-Nisa’: فَمَا ٱسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْهُنَّ فَـئَاتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً “So, to those of them whose company you have enjoyed [istamta`tum], give their dues (dower) as obligated.” [4:24] Shī`ī scholars have opined that these words refer to temporary marriage and thus identify it as the “Verse of Mut`a.” The Sunnī scholars, however, have written lengthy discussions on this difference of opinion and have held the contrary position instead. For more see here. |

Assalam o alaykum, Akhi the article quotes answering-ansar: Sunni Ulama undoubtedly confirm that this verse refers to Mut'ah. As proof we have relied on the following Sunni texts: 1. Tafseer Kashaf, Volume 1 page 20- commentary of Nisa 2. Tafseer ibn Katheer, Volume 1 page 84 3. Tafseer Tabari, Page 9 part 5 4. Tafseer Fathul Qadeer, page 14 5. Tafseer Gharib Qur'an, page 2 part 5 6. Tafseer Qurtabi, Volume 5 page 60 7. Tafseer Mu'alim al Tanzeel, Volume 1 page 63 8. Tafseer Khazan, Volume 1 page 63 Ayat Mut'ah 9. Tafseer Kabeer, Volume 3 page 95 10. Tafseer Durre Manthur, Volume 2 page 140 11. Tafseer Akham of Quran, Volume 2 page 45 12. Tafseer Baydhawi, Volume 2 page 9 13. Tafseer Haqqani, Volume 2 page 3 14. Tafseer Ahmadi, Volume 1 page 10 15. Tafseer Jama al Bayan, Volume 1 page 22 16. Tafseer Mazhari, Volume 3 page 18 and then the article goes on to note how the underlined source is incorrect - my question is, what about all the other sources? Are those also flat out lies? ![]() wa alaykum salaam wa rahmatullah |

wa 'alaykum salaam, The article, if read completely with care, shows that the idea that is supported with the references itself is refuted by referring to the underlined one. Not that the underlined reference is simply incorrect. When the claims are shown to be a lie, I don't think there is a point in us going through all other references. A liar's arguments are paid no heed. But even if the references are checked in light of the claim they support, then yes it can be said that they are flat out lies. Ibn al-Jawzi states clearly in Zad al-Masir that according to the majority this verse does not refer to temporary marriage, and so does al-Razi as quoted in the article. This is also a fact realized when taking the views of all the scholars concerning the verse into consideration. I hope this helps. wa `alaykum as salam |
