Default Imam Mahdi AS doesn't speak Arabic well?
Does anyone have the Arabic text of the extract from Harun Yahya's book that they can share:

Muhyiddin ibn Arabi his book called al-Jawab al-Mustaqim (The Straightforward Answer) written to answer the questions asked by Tirmidhi in his book of Khatm al-Awliya:

“He (Hazrat Mahdi (as)) is someone who acquires the truth and closely resembles his forefather (Muhammad (saas)). He does not speak Arabic very well, but he is no different to him in moral terms. He will be of medium height. The age of property will come to an end with him, and sovereignty will end with him. He (Hazrat Mahdi (as)]) will have a helper called “Alive”. His essence is spiritual, his appearance is humane. (al-Jawab al-Mustaqim amma Seele anhu at-Tirmidhi al-Haqim, Bayazid, no: 3750, leaf 242b)

This isn't about Harun Yahya. He's sourcing it from Ibn Arabi's book. Hoping someone has the page of Ibn Arabi in Arabic.

Why does it mater whether or not he will be fluent in Arabi or not? And my guess is,if he is an Imam, then he will obviously know Arabi.

this is why you cant take harun yahya AKA adnan oktar seriously. according to oktar the mahdi has been prophecised in the quran to be a messenger. then he puts some spin on that as well. some guy was on the forum a few days ago who claimed that oktar believes he is the mahdi.

anyway, any knowledge that you take from an open sinner like oktar MUST be scrutinised by a pious scholar.

There is no need to take Ibn Arabi seriously either. He has said stuff which has harmed the foundations of Islam and this one ie "Imam Mehdi does not speak Arabic well" is of trivial importance when compared with the other deviations he tried to induct into Islam. He has been declared a disbeliever by Shaykh ul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah ra , Imam Al Dhahabi , Imam Ibn Kathir , Imam Ibn Rajjab al Hanbali and many other scholars.

I tried Searching in quran for him, But No luck and the verses i read show nothing close to him.

Oktar Is doing a good job.May Allah Guide him to truth more....Better than the muslims who are dividing ISLAM into sects.

Stop spreading your deviation all over the forum with respect to Ibn Arabi. We are all aware of your intense hatred for Shaikh Al-Akbar ibn Arabi r.a. so no need to repeat the same old stuff every few months. Seriously it's getting boring.

We can't really say or because he is not a sahabi nor has he passed away.

As for saying , there is no problem except in possibly imitating the Shi'a.

Radiya'Allahu Žanhu is not limited to Sahaba alone, radiya'Allahu Žanhum. As for Žalayhi as-salam for non-Anbiya, Imam al-Bukhari, in his Saheeh, used Žalayhi as-salam for Ahl al-Kisa.

I've heard this before; anywhere I could get more information about this? Jazak Allah

Regarding Imam Mahdi, is it not true that he will be from Banu Hashim? How could his Arabic be deficient? (And for the person who said he needs to "communicate with the world" and therefore that somehow supports that his Arabic will/should be deficient... sigh please think more before posting.)

A couple years back, I was surprised when my Arabic teacher, who is a hardcore Salafi, would always say Imam 'Ali ('alayhi al-salam), but if you look at the books of early scholars, you'll see that it is not uncommon at all for them to say 'alayhi al-salam after the names of Ahl al-Bayt. Open up al-Maktabah al-Shamilah, go to the search feature, go to the "kutub al-mutun" section, select all the books, and search for "علي عليه السلام." You will be surprised at how many muhaddithin say عليه السلام after mentioning his name. Not sure why it has come to be a distinguish feature of the shi'as in our time...
