Slapping on the face
 

Assalamualaikum,

Is it haram to slap a person across the face, especially a child? Can I have the daleel for it, if it is. JazakAllah khair.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "If somebody fights (or beats somebody) then he should avoid the face." [Sahih al-Bukhari Vol III Hadith 734.]

and also

Narrated Salim: Ibn 'Umar said, "The Prophet forbade beating (animals) on the face." [Sahih al-Bukhari Vol VII Hadith 449]

tehre are otehr hadeeths prohibitting leaving any sort of mark

In another hadith Rasul (saw) said "He who has no mercy towards younger ones, and does not acknowledge the honour of our older ones, is not one of us." [At-Tirmithi]

JazakAllah khair, now I may be pushing my luck but can I have this in Urdu? I need to send it to someone who understands Urdu, they wanted daleel for it. And not just one, but perhaps one or two? JazakAllah khair.
