"The Messenger of Allah said, "Allah laughs at the despair of His slaves, even though His help is so close!"

Abu Ruzain said, "Oh Messenger of Allah! Does our Lord laugh?"

He said, "Yes."

Abu Ruzain said, "In that case, we will never lose hope in seeking good from a Lord that laughs."

-Recorded by Ibn Maajah
This is one of the best hadith I've ever read, I will try to remember about this!

We need to train our thoughts and mind, refuse to look at negative things, do not watch TV, avoid negative people and work on your self, be strong minded, speak to yourself, be a coach, tell yourself like a coach would, I will not allow you to look at the world negatively...we are not living in a meaningless universe, humans are the greatest of Allahs creation, our sins and our perception of them makes us grow closer to Allah swt, we do tawba to an All-Forgiving Lord, who loves people who repent. Never allow your thoughts to think bad thoughts about Allah, just refuse and affirm the good, Insha-Allah it will pass, and if it returns in the future you will be strong enough to fight it.
After being depressed for such a long time, I learnt this method of ” speaking to one self like a coach” just yesterday, and yep, you are right, it's really helpful, it works though in the beginning it is not so easy, but I guess it will get easier day after day,

@pluto: that video is just amazing and yeah it helped me a lot!

May Allah reward you all, for every kind word you wrote to me, it was really useful and I really appreciate it!

By the way, today I’ve been doing great, Inshallah tomorrow will be also a nice day. Thank you again for you support!

Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad tells a story of a man who was in the era of Moosa (as). He would not stay steadfast on his repentance.
Allah descended revelation upon Moosa (as). Tell this youngster not to break his repentance. If you return back to your sins then i will give you a punishment.
Allah is saying this to Moosa (as). And i won’t accept your repentance. Moosa (as) delivered this message to youngster. After recieve the message he was patient for a few days but committed the sin again thereafter.

Allah descended revelation upon Moosa (as) saying:

“Tell him I am upset with him”.

Moosa (as) delivered this message to him.
The youngster left for the desert and proclaimed “O Allah, what message have you sent through Moosa (as)? You are over the treasures of forgiveness?
“Oh my Lord, which of my sin is greater than your mercy that it cannot be forgiven by you?
“O Allah, you state that you will not forgive me, how will you not forgive me? It is from your attributes that you are the most gracious.
“Oh my Lord, if you deprive people of your mercy, then where will your sinful people go?
Which other door is there to which we may go to?
If you push them away where will they go?
If your mercy has diminished then very well, give me punishment.
“O Allah, put the sins of the all other people on me as well. I will act as a compensation on behalf of everyone, forgive everyone else.

When Allah heard the youngster, Allah’s mercy was drawn. Allah revealed the Prophet Moosa(as), “Tell him: if your sins filled the space between the heavens and the earth, after this dua (supplication) I will forgive all your sins. You have understood my forbearance and mercy well”.
Finally, Hazrat Shaykh Zulfiqar Said that if whe were to make supplication like this, then indeed Allah will accept our supplications.

Jazakallah

Assalamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh,

I am new here, and I am happy to have found this forum, but I am also unhappy bcuz of my depression:

I've been obssessed with waswasah for almost three montsh wich made my life a trash, hamdulilah now I've learned to ignore them but I haven't learnt yet how to deal with my depression: I can't stop feeling guilty and I am afraid I will burn in hell forever, I just can't stop thinking about it, I try to remember to myself that I must be strong and faithfull in Allah's mercy but my depression is stronger then me, I feel like I can't live anymore but I neither wanna die bcuz I am afraid of hell.. I am taking drugs and I wonder if it is halal in Islam?

however I must change my medication as they don't make me feel better!
I even wanted to take a cognitive therapy by a psycologist but here where I live I can't find a Muslim one!

What do you advise me to do?
I know there are many like me, and that you may be tired to respond always to the same question, but I feel so lonely as I don't have nobody who I can talk to..

Please, please, make du'a for me because I feel like my heart is overwhelmed by guilty and pain and I don't know what to do in order to feel better!

Please ask Allah to love me, I feel like I am a bad person and like I don't deserve his love, this hurts me so much.. I don't know how to change my feeling and how to control them, I've tried many times in many ways but at the ent I am always the same!

may Allah reward you for your patience and dua's. Jazak Allahu khair!

Walaikum Assalam wa rehmatullah wa barakatahu,

First have it fixed in your mind that Allah has blessed us with the cure of every illness. There is no concept of incurable diseases in Islam. It is another thing that there is a need to find them. But still there are cures present out there and we sometimes are unaware of them. Allah says in the holy Quran that Quran is "Shifa". So you don't need to worry a bit. Read ayat-ul-kursi, the four Quls. And whenever you get such waswas seek the refuge of Allah against the accursed devil and Allah will inshaAllah take care of the matter! But the key is "Dont despair".

And if an evil whisper comes to you from Shaitân (Satan) then seek refuge with Allâh. Verily, He is All-Hearer, All-Knower. (200) Verily, those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2), when an evil thought comes to them from Shaitân (Satan), they remember (Allâh), and (indeed) they then see (aright). (201)

(Chapter 7-verses 200-201)

In the above verse we are asked to seek refuge with Allah and Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala in Surah An-Nas has taught us how to seek it, alhamdulillah!

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, (1) The King of mankind, (2) The God of mankind, (3) From the evil of the sneaking whisperer, (4) Who whispereth in the hearts of mankind, (5) Of the jinn and of mankind. (6)

And try reciting "Astaghfirullah" as much as possible, I have heard a hakeem practising the medicine of profit say that besides the spritual benefit of its recitation, this action balances the enzymes in human body and restores him or her to the original condition.

Have a look at the following links which I recently found, its by dr. Zaid Kasim Ghazzawi, from www.quran-miracle.com

The Relationship between Satan and cancer:

Forgetfulness:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AykF...layer_embedded

I would suggest that you eat Ajwa dates, drink Aab-e-zamzam, have pomegranate. We all need to check whether our food is all halal(ingredients too) and our income does not have the contamination of Ribba in it.

May Allah bless you. Ameen! Just have patience!

Alhamdulillah (All praise be to Allah SWT), good to know that.

And of-course He loves you, if he hadn't would he have given you the wealth of Imaan?

Don't forget to give sadaqah and as far as possible, stay in a state of wudhu.
